enhanced display, and benefit from new filtering capabilities for a comprehensive and efficient view of relationship within complex products. In the Collaborative Workspaces category, CATIA V5R16: · promotes unparalleled collaboration between manufacturing companies working with ENOVIA or SMARTEAM. o The new SMARTEAM ­ CATIA Supply Chain Engineering Exchange (SEE) promotes two-way exchanges of engineering packages between manufacturing companies. With the reconciliator, designers visualize, compare and select only relevant design modifications received, and reconcile them within SMARTEAM. o In addition, V5R16 fully supports global product simulation across the extended enterprise. With CATIA V5 64-bit, one user can work on the full dashboard, avoiding unnecessary duplication. This allows designers to fully benefit from V5, particularly the spec/result mode, resulting in dramatic productivity gains. o 64-bit support also enables unmatched performance in computationally demanding activities such as Finite Element Application (FEA), which requires considerable memory capacity to correctly handle large amounts of computed data.
