Determine Your Daily Açai Serving Amount

Unlike juice beverages that we drink by the glassful, Açai fruit juice is measured by the ounce, which equals only two tablespoonfuls. How much Açai is right for you depends on your health condition and the unique way your body responds to Açai. The chart below can help you choose how much Açai you might need.

Basic Guidelines for Your Daily Açai Serving

Now that you have selected how many ounces of Açai you need, you need to decide how and when to drink them.

These serving guidelines are not set in stone, nor are they suggested by a physician. They are simply guidelines, but they give you a starting point. Feel free to modify the amounts, with the aid of your health care provider, to suit your individual needs. Here are some other suggestions that might help you decide how much Açai is right for you: A Maintenance Serving for the average adult is 1-2 ounce of Açai per twice day. · Athletes may prefer to drink an extra ounce each day. · Overweight adults could drink an extra tablespoonful for every 50 pounds of excess weight. · Adults who have large frames, but who are not necessarily overweight, could try 4 or 5 ounces per day. · Adults who weigh less than 100 pounds may only need one tablespoonful per day. · Teenagers can drink the same serving size as adults. · Children ages 6 to 12 may need only two or three teaspoonfuls a day. · Children under 6 may need only a teaspoonful a day as maintenance.
