Serving Guidelines & Basics

Hidden deep within the Amazon rainforest is a small, dark violet berry that possesses scientific properties that no other fruit can claim. The Açai berry has been harvested for centuries from the 25-foot Açai palm. Dangling from branches in clusters, these berries have a deep, dense color that reflects no light. The berries are known for their strength, energy and richness, just like the rainforest they come from. The berry provides a remarkable source of healthy fats, complete protein, and essential vitamins and minerals. The Açai's nutrient profile is quite impressive. Several reports indicate that the pulp of Açai fruit has antioxidant activity so high that many consider it to contain the highest antioxidant potency of any known common antioxidant-rich fruit or vegetable.

The preventive benefits and superior free-radical-scavenging power of this fruit have the potential to help the body in ways never before imagined.
