Instructions For Aerosol Can Puncturing Device

Make sure the puncturing needle is back up into the valve, so it does not interfere when attaching it to the can. Attach the AC-PD to the can by slipping the inner bottom lip just under the outside curl edge of the valve. Hold it against the valve while holding the can with your thumb or index finger which ever is more comfortable for you. Screw the handle in clockwise until you feel contact, go 2 of more turns. The can valve is now pierced. When you back it out you will be relieving the pressure in the can. If you desire you can screw the handle back in and the leakage will stop. If you do not hold the can straight up the product will leak out. Depending on the type of propellant being used it may be necessary to use a explosion proof hood. All safety precautions must be exercised due to the nature of propellants.
