ALL CLAD SEACO. is the integration of All Clad SEACO and SEACO CAD Services, to provide multi-discipline engineering, design and detail drafting along with specialist installation services to the construction industry.

We have at present approximately 150 staff working on various sites or from our offices located in Dubai, UAE. In addition to our Dubai office we also have fully operational offices in Bangkok from which we specialise in servicing steelwork, glass and aluminium fabricators in the production of shop and fabrication drawings on worldwide projects. Both offices are fully integrated using the internet and `ftp' facilities. All Clad and SEACO have been in operation for the past 15 years in South East Asia and for the past five years in Dubai and the Middle East. We have a wide range of experience from infrastructure through industrial and commercial to residential projects.

Civil Structural Drafting. Structural steel drafting and detailing services for steel fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Xsteel. Structural steel detailing for general arrangement and connection drawings. Steelwork drafting and detailing for miscellaneous fabrication structures Design development of engineering drawings. Production of structural steel shop drawings including connection design and engineering calculations. Fully detailed fabrication drawings incorporating individual and consolidated boq. When awarded a contract to produce shop and or fabrication drawings, ACS would at this stage require a full set of "for construction" design drawings. This information would be passed on to our design manager for use in the production of approval issue shop drawings and eventually the for construction fabrication drawings. There follows a brief description of the method of drawing production and approval. This is based on past projects, drawing numbering etc would be to suit this project and as advised by the CLIENTto meet the project requirements. Directory Structure: All drawings will be produced and kept in the "working drawings" directory. All schedules will be produced and kept in the "working schedules" directory. When ready for issue the drawings will be printed to "pdf" in a sub-directory created for that date under the "issued" directory. All date directories will be formatted as Year (07), Month (04), and Date (23), this to keep the directories in an ordered list. Only the directories in the list to the left are necessary, although a temporary directory can be created as a sub-directory of the "working drawings" directory for blocks and temp details if necessary. Revision and issue of documents: Prior to being issued for approval the drawings and schedules will receive a revision "R1" when issued for client review. Any changes incorporated after this must be accompanied by a change in the revision box to "R2,R3....etc". Documents issued for approval will be marked as Revision "A" any comments and or changes incorporated after this time will be accompanied by a revision update to "B,C...etc" until the drawing are ready for construction issue, at this stage they will all be issued as Revision "1", again any subsequent changes must be accompanied by a revision update to "2,3...etc". All the revisions must be logged and recorded on the drawing/document register. All issues of drawings must be accompanied by a document transmittal correctly formatted and dated. For this project all documents will be issued in hardcopy to CLIENT document control, with for record purposes an email copy of the transmittal and register sent to CLIENT document control and package manager. Drawing & Schedule Numbering System: The Drawing and scheduling numbering will be as advised by CLIENT package manager. Drawing/Document Register: The drawing/document register will be produced and updated by the document controller, our standard format will be used. The register will be kept in and updated from the "drawing register" directory. The drawing register number will be: ACS.RELEVENT TO THE PROJECT.REG When the document register is issued it is to be printed to "pdf" and the file saved as ACS.RELEVENT TO THE PROJECT.REG.TR.*** . The *** being the transmittal number. The "pdf" file will also be saved into the corresponding "issued\ date" sub-directory as a record.

Drawing/Document Transmittal: The drawing/document transmittals will be produced and updated by the document controller, our standard format will be used. The master transmittal will be kept in and updated from the "drawing transmittal" directory. The drawing transmittal number will be: ACS.RELEVENT TO THE PROJECT.TR001 When the document transmittal is issued it is to be printed to "pdf" and the file saved as ACS.RELEVENT TO THE PROJECT.TR.*** . The *** being the next consecutive number starting at 001. . The "pdf" file will also be saved into the corresponding "issued\ date" subdirectory as a record. Where necessary engineering calculations will accompany the approval issue of all façade, balustrade and support steelwork shop drawings. Once fabrication drawings have been produced they will be issued to to the fabricator for manufacture. Should there be any necessity to alter the drawings due to a change in site circumstances, this can be carried out via our Dubai or Bangkok office whichever is appropriate. Approved shop drawings will be updated as necessary to keep an up to date record of "as built" status, in this manner the "as built" drawings can be issued progressively shortly after each area of installation is complete. ACS surveys is a part of the All Clad Seaco group, that offers integrated and innovative surveying solutions. The survey department also provides a link between ou technical engineering and drafting services and our on site installation. We also invite independent survey enquiries, for small to medium sized contracts from Public Bodies, Architects, Consultant Engineers, Building Contractors & Engineers, Civil Engineering Contractors Main Contractors and Façade companies, for Topographic survey work or structure and façade setting out and control. All resulting surveys are supplied as hard copies and in electronic format. All Engineering Surveys staff have a high degree of competency with computer aided drafting software and our civil engineering and survey package: 12d Model. Our CAD work often extends beyond pure detail and topographic surveys, grid and as-built drawings. Our CAD skills enable us to produce accurate scale drawings of almost anything whether it be mechanical detail, comprehensive service drawings or 3D renderings of buildings and topographic data. Combining these skills with database enables us to produce powerful Land and Geographic Information Systems (LIS & GIS). On-site laptops, customized CAD menus, and Trimble and Sokkia Data Loggers enable us with a minimum of CAD work to take any CAD drawing and set specified points out directly on the ground, making the transition from designer/ builder to physical reality virtually transparent.

Survey

Installation

Curtain walling is generally available as either a factory prefabricated unitised system or as as a stick wall type where all the required components are assembled on site with the aluminium frame work is installed and glazed insitu. ACS has extensive experience of both systems in the design, fabrication, assembly and site installation . We can adapt and design individual solutions to suit our client's intent and final expectations and visual effects from their building or facade.. The choice of system depends on resources, lead times and design complexity and the intended way the building or facade is required to work or act when exposed to the elements or other prevailing factors. Introduction to Installation. Modern day curtain wall systems are becoming increasingly complex. Initially the cladding system was required to be a passive skin, used solely to protect against the elements. Now the cladding envelope is increasingly required to not only protect but to actually harness the very elements they used to repel. The incorporation of thermal window designs and the use of photovoltaic systems are only two of the many developments that are now becoming commonplace, in addition to the use of double skin curtain wall systems. These changes in the fundamental requirements of the cladding system have also been reflected by the use of computers being applied to the procedure of design and fabrication of the curtain wall. However the manner of installation of the cladding system remains enmeshed in the old and relatively traditional manner of erection. As the design has become more complex from an Architectural and technical view point, it becomes increasingly reliant upon accurate manufacture and assembly. The use of unitised systems has enabled the assembly to be carried out in the controlled environment of the factory. This has assisted in enabling QA/QC inspections and procedures to be developed to ensure compliance with design and assembly requirements. Unfortunately, the improvement in design, manufacture and assembly has not been repeated in the installation of the cladding system. Importance of Installation No matter how good the design and manufacture of the wall system, it can all become a disaster if the installation is not carried out in the correct manner. With the increasing use of unitised systems, concern regarding the quality of the curtain wall assembly is being diminished but the knowledgeable are now transferring that concern to the role played by the installer. The success and wide spread use of the relatively simple stick-wall resulted in the installer being able to fix problems after installation, usually by applying sealant at strategic locations. The change to unitised systems has resulted in all of the joints being made and checked in the factory except for the inter-unit joints and seals which, by definition, must be done on site. The major problem with the types of field-joints that are required to be completed in a unitised system is that they are required to be covered over to allow the installation to progress. If any problems occur with these joints then it is rarely a case of applying sealant, as the area in question becomes inaccessible to repair. Although repairs are not impossible to make, it is usually difficult, costly and time consuming. It therefore becomes essential to use trusted installation crews who are well versed n the methodology of the system and also aware of the importance of ensuring the correct application of primers and sealant splices, in addition to the obvious ones of anchorage and retention systems. Aims It is the intention of ACS to earn the trust and respect of its clients by; Performing at the highest standards to meet the requirements of our clients. Installing the cladding envelope to the complete satisfaction of all interested parties. Completing installations in a timely and competent manner. Use of modern equipment and safety procedures and ensure that all statutory requirements are the minimum standard of health and safety and are bettered wherever possible.

Quality of Work ACAL staff are not only fully trained in installation procedures but also appreciate that they are trusted with the care of the client's property. Installation is carried out with the belief that damage to material is not acceptable at any level and that it will be avoided by the use of correct procedures and the use of protective devices. Safety Despite our commitment to our clients we readily and unashamedly admit that safety is our number one priority. From tender stage through to the completion of the installation, safety is carefully considered and all statutory requirements are considered as the minimum level of commitment, which should be surpassed wherever possible. Safety is considered and systems implemented for transportation, storage, hoisting, installation and cleaning of the façade and its related components. Our fully qualified safety officer has continuous presence on site. Insurance In our modern society, insurance is a sensible and necessary, as well as a mandatory requirement. ACAL has sufficient insurances for all aspects of normal work. However, when faced with the unusual, our standard policy is able to be supplemented, to provide an increase in our coverage, whenever it is necessary. Manpower ACAL retains a core of experienced personnel and a register of additional staff that are available to increase the core force as and when necessary. We retain our own welders, with all necessary licensees, supervisors and installation crews. We are fully experienced in hoisting and material distribution Equipment To avoid any possible delays, it is our intention to be self sufficient in all possible matters relating to equipment and the use of the equipment. We are fully equipped with all necessary access equipment and hoisting equipment. As each project is rarely the same we design and manufacture bespoke installation equipment to suit the on site conditions.
