Batting

. Sew a 1¾" x 10" fabric B strip to opposite sides of a fabric A square; press. Sew 1¾" x 12½" fabric B strips to the remaining sides of the square; press. Make (10) blocks and label them block A. . Sew a 1¾" x 10" fabric C strip to opposite sides of a fabric A square; press. Sew 1¾" x 12½" fabric C strips to the remaining sides of the square; press. Make (10) blocks and label them block B. . Sew the A and B blocks together in (5) rows of (4) blocks each, alternating the blocks in each row and from row to row; press. Sew the rows together and press. Sew (1) strip each of fabric D, E, F, and G together along their long edges to make a strip set. Make (2) strip sets and cut them into (9) 6"wide segments.

. Repeat step 4 using strips of H, I, J, and K fabrics. Make (2) strip sets and cut (9) 6"wide segments. . To make the left side borders; alternately sew together (3) D/E/F/G segments and (2) H/I/J/K segments; press. Sew the border strip to the left side of the quilt top as shown in the photo. . To make the right side border; alternately sew together (3) H/I/J/K segments and (2) D/E/F/G segments; press. Sew the border strip to the right side of the quilt top as shown in the photo. . To make the top and bottom borders; alternately sew together (2) D/E/F/G segments and (2) H/I/J/K segments as shown in the photo; press. Make (2) border strips. Sew a fabric C square to both ends of each border. Sew the border strips to the quilt top. . Layer the quilt top with batting and backing. Quilt as desired. Using the 2¼" fabric C strips; sew the binding to the quilt. Add a label to the back of your quilt.
