Prices for Canners/Peelers and Juice Stock about steady. Supplies are very light. Purchase prices are variety, size and quality dependent. Prices for processing apples on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 F.O.B. packing house or receiving station per cwt. 2012 crop: Canners/Peelers - (Utilizing All Available Varieties): $17.00-20.00, mostly $20.00. Prices represent few open sales. Remaining supplies are in few hands. Juice Stock - (Utilizing All Available Varieties): $16.00-21.00, mostly $18.00. Prices represent few open sales. Remaining supplies are in few hands. WASHINGTON: Offerings to processors heavy. Trading fairly active. Prices generally unchanged. Fresh movement continues to be fairly strong providing plenty of fruit to processors offline. Freezing temperatures over the past few nights had growers utilizing frost protection. Warmer weather expected later current week. Prices for apples on Wednesday May 1, 2013, F.O.B. Packing house or receiving station Per ton 2012 Crop. Wide range in prices. Juice $60.00-80.00 mostly $70.00-80.00, some $50.00 occasional higher. Peelers $180.00-200.00 occasional lower some Golden Delicious and Granny Smith $220.00 few higher.

APPLE JUICE CONCENTRATE IMPORTS - PORTS OF ENTRY EAST COAST: Prices for apple juice concentrate for the period April 25 - May 1, 2013. Acidity 1.0-2.2 percent weight/weight as malic acid, color 40-70 percent, brix minimum of 70.0, various containers (drums, bins, or bulk liquid packaging).
