CVEN 339 Water Resources Engineering Spring 2004

Wisenbaker Engineering Research Center, Room 205 ­ F Tel.: 979-845-1404 e-mail: [email protected] (1) to expose civil engineering students to a wide range of water resources engineeirng problems, and to introduce them to the application of fundamental mathematical and scientific knowledge (acquired in previous courses) and use of computers to solve these problems; and (2) to provide the students with the basic knowledge of water resources engineering a civil engineer should be familiar with. After taking this course, the students will be able to solve basic problems of water resources engineering, including flow in pipes and channels, groundwater flow, and watershed analysis.
