ASTM Method D5134-92: Detailed Analysis of Petroleum Naphthas through n-Nonane

Method Overview: This method analyzes hydrocarbon components in petroleum naphtha, reformate or alkylate. Minimum resolution of 2- and 4-methylheptane and minimal efficiency for octane is specified. A linearity check of the split inlet is also required. GC oven is calibrated to specified temperature before operation.
