Graduate Research Assistant, National Science Council & Dept. of CSIE, NTU 09/1997­06/1999 H.323 Multimedia Conferencing System (thesis project): Implemented an H.323 video conferencing system prototype. Designed a scheduling and synchronization scheme for real-time data transmission. Integrated G.723.1, G.729, and H.263 codec modules and T.120 subsystem into the overall system. Network Protocol Analyzer: Integrated real-time protocols: Q.931, H.225.0, and H.245. Released an ITU-T H.323 fully supported version. H.324 Multimedia Application: Studied the interface between audio/video codecs and signaling modules. Reorganized subsystems into independent modules for future reuse. Assisted interoperability and stability test.
