ARAPAHOE COUNTY DETENTION VISITATION SCHEDULE

VISTATION HOURS WILL BE:

8:00 AM TO 10:30 AM 12:30 PM TO 1:30 PM 3:30 PM TO 5:00 PM 6:30 PM TO 9:00 PM Each visitor will be required to schedule all visitations via phone or internet. All visitors will be required to schedule visits 24 hours in advance of the day that they wish to visit. You will find the phone number and website address on the bottom of this schedule. The following will be the current visitation days for each Pod/Dayroom. The inmate's Pod location and days of visiting may be changed at any time and without advance notice. -Pod Trusty's will not be pulled from their work assignment for visits. Please be advised that it is the responsibility of the inmate to notify all visitors of the dates and times that they are available for visits. -Visits may be denied or cancelled should a visitor or inmate display disruptive or inappropriate behavior. Please be advised- visiting days for the inmates may be changed without prior notification. It is the responsibility of the inmate to notify all visitors of any location changes

All visits may be monitored for security purposes.

VISITATION RULES AND REGULATIONS ALL visitors must check in with the Visitor Center staff. You must have one of the following acceptable forms of identification in order to visit. Visitors without appropriate, current and valid identification will not be allowed to visit.

Current and Valid State Issued Driver's License and or permit; Current and Valid State Issued Identification Card Current and Valid Military Identification Card; Current and Valid Passport Mexican- Matricula Consular Identification Card Native American Indian Tribal Card Minors between the ages of 15-17 may posses: Current School Identification Card

ALL visitors must be in the visitor center and checked in 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. Late arrival may result in the cancellation of your visit. Visits are 30 minutes in length- time will be deducted for late arrivals. You will have a 10 minute grace period. Anyone arriving after the 10 minute grace period will be denied his/her visit. ALL visitors must be dressed appropriately at all times. Visitation may be denied if an individual is not dressed in a suitable manner for a business environment. Anyone between the ages of 15 and 17 must be accompanied by an individual 21 years of age or older who possesses one of the above listed forms of valid identification. Individuals 15 to 17 years of age must provide one of the above acceptable forms of identification. ALL children visiting with their parent must be supervised at all times during their visit. Disruptive behavior is prohibited. Visits may be cancelled due to disruptive children. The inmate is responsible for adding you to their approved visitor list. This process may take up to 48 hours from the time they are booked in to the facility. You will be issued a visitor identification number which will be required for scheduling a visitation appointment.

On-Line Visitor Registration: You may access our website www.co.arapahoe.co.us/inmatevisitation to schedule your visitation appointment. You will need your required Visitor Identification Number to schedule your visit. Visits must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. You may also schedule up to 2 weeks in advance of the inmate's scheduled visitation days. Automated Phone Registration: (303) 795-4524 Our automated phone reservation system is available 24 hours a day to schedule your visitation appointment. You will need your required Visitor Identification Number to schedule your visit. Visits must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. You may also schedule up to 2 weeks in advance of the inmate's scheduled visitation days .Please listen carefully to all the prompts to ensure accurate scheduling. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Possession of any item considered to be contraband may result in denial of visitation privileges. Any visitor who violates any rule of the Detention Facility and/or the Visitor Center may be asked to leave the premises and may also lose their visiting privileges. If there are violations; abuse of other visitors or staff members, either verbally or physically; destruction of County property; inappropriate or sexually explicit behavior, ALL visiting privileges may be terminated and the visitor may be denied access to this facility.
