Instructor: Central Park Driving School Cost: $368 registration (No discounts) $20 fuel charge (subject to change according to fuel price according to fuel price) TEXAS YOUTH TOBACCO AWARENESS COURSE- MIP COURT MANDATED 12SP-226 The Texas Tobacco law holds minors accountable for violating the law by requiring them to attend an eight hour tobacco awareness program, perform tobacco related public service, and/ or pay a fine of up to $250. *THE FIRST CLASS WILL BE 45 minutes longer for permission forms to be signed by the parent and minor. PARENTS MUST ATTEND for this entire 45 minutes. The rest of the sessions will be two hours in length to total eight hours. The course and the full eight hours must be completed to receive a certificate. *INSTRUCTOR has the right to dismiss a participant and report non-cooperative behavior to the judge. Tuition Charges: All fees are payable in advance. Classes are self-supporting with fees financing and sustaining programs. Some classes have a supply fee which is payable to the instructor at the first class. Late Registration: Students may register at the first class if space is available and the class has not been cancelled. Confirmation of registration will not be sent. You will be contacted if a class is cancelled or already filled when you registration is received. We encourage you to call prior to your class meeting date to confirm. Cancellations: Some classes have minimum and/or maximum enrollment limits. Register early to avoid disappointment as classes will be cancelled for lack of registration. Registrants will be notified is a class has been cancelled. Classes cancelled by Community Education will result in refund by mail. Students have option to cancel before second class begins to receive refund unless class only has one session. Refund Policy: We are happy to refund tuition, less $5 processing fee, when you cancel your class two full working days prior to the first class meeting. If request for refund is made less than two full working days prior to the first class, one-half refund will be made. We are unable to refund any tuition money after the first class.
