Top hosiery designers choose creora®

creora® the leading elastane brand from Hyosung Corporation and the second largest producer in the world, is growing its share of the textile industry. For Interfilière in Paris Mode City this September they are showing new developments from Europe's leading hosiery brands. Recognising the design and performance opportunities with the creora® elastane range for the hosiery sector Sarah Borghi, Emilio Cavallini, Pompea and Penti have created collections that will be shown in a special section on the creora® stand in Paris. Sarah Borghi is the well-known brand for hosiery collections produced in Italy by Gizeta. For their Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 collection they selected a wide range of creora® elastanes 15 denier H-350 and 20 den C-100 for the ultimate in legwear fit and comfort and 140-210 den C-100 for the waist bands. CEO Giancarlo Frizzi explains "The reasons we decided to work with creora® are numerous and related to all the elements that make a perfect legwear product." "First of all the elasticity and ease of use of creora® elastane are essential. creora® also has to have the right fit and fashion content, and of course, real business considerations such as the price & quality together with what we demand excellent service..." added Giancarlo Frizzi.

Emilio Cavallini decided to select creora® for many reasons among them being the ease of processing "We like this fibre, it's easy to handle and runs well through our production". explains Francesco Cavallini, production manager of the world famous Italian hosiery designer. Emilio Cavallini uses mainly creora® H-350, which delivers superior fit and power in fine deniers and is used in the latest knitting technologies.

Intimate Apparel and Hosiery specialist Pompea uses creora® in much of their production. They are using a range of the creora® elastanes designed for hosiery, from the low heat settable C-400 to the creora® black. Pompea has a vertical production cycle: from yarn to the finished garment. The partnership between Hyosung and Pompea began more than four years ago. Gianfranco Allegretti, yarns research manager: "We have chosen Hyosung creora® because it is a young company which has invested in research and innovation. In our collections, we use a lot of black and dark colours and creora® black H-100D is ideally suited. We can now obtain hosiery garments in absolute black. We can avoid the annoying shine and show through of the traditional elastanes used in hosiery. We are proud of our products, and all the garments made of creora® are branded with the creora® logo on the packaging". The Pompea garments with H-100D have undergone the most stringent quality test programme including tests for resistance to acid and alkali sweat, abrasion, chlorine water and wash cycles. "The results have been outstanding and we expect a good reaction as black is always in fashion" adds Gianfranco Allegretti.

Penti is the brand of Ogretmen Hosiery and known as a design innovator and a leader in the Turkish Hosiery market. "We are dedicated to providing hosiery collections that give our customers the highest quality and maximum comfort with the latest aesthetics and fashion trends" said Mr Davut Beresi, Owner of Ogretmen. "To help us achieve these goals we are using creora® C-400, C-100 and H-250 from the finest denier 12 to 280 in the Penti collection for AW 08/09, and we have been working with creora® very successfully for some years now" "Our philosophy is to encourage our customers to buy hosiery as an accessory not just as a necessity and Hyosung's product development programme is essential to meet our design team's innovation programme" added Mr Davut Beresi.
