Bathroom Break Movement/Music Time On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the children will do movement time. We will be using: balance beams, bean bags, movement scarves, hula hoops, our outside playground, etc. During this time the children will use their gross motor skills. Bible Story Time This is the most important time of our day. The children learn about Jesus their Savior through Bible stories and songs. The teacher will tell the Bible story using voice and props. Towards the end of the week the children will be able to tell the stories themselves! Planning Time The children will use objects to tell the teacher what they would like to play with during work time. For example, Susie talks into a phone and tells the teacher (who is on the other phone) that she would like to build a big castle with the legos. Work Time Children carry out the plans they made. The teacher and aides help support, carry out and add to their plans. So much learning takes place during this time. Clean Up Time The children stop what they are playing with, clean up their messes and help others. Recall Time The children go back to the small groups that they planned in and tell what they did during work time. They may draw what they did, tell it again on the phone or various other ways.
