Data Logging Software for DARWIN series Instruments

With DAQ32Plus, you can quickly start up a data acquisition system with a maximum acquisition rate of 300 channels/500 ms. This software component provides you with powerful support, from hardware setup to PC-based data acquisition and data analysis.

Data Logging Software

With this software, you can freely allocate up to 32 measurement and computation channels and define a maximum of 30 channel groups. By opening multiple windows, you can monitor data simultaneously on multiple channels.

Data Viewer Software

Supports redisplay of saved data, display of analog trend graphs, display of digital values, display of results of statistical interval computing, and data conversion (Lotus 1-2-3, Excel or ASCII)

Manages the starting/stopping of logging and the setting of monitored groups.

Directly indicates the current digital values, and is useful when you want to know precise data values.

Report Functions

File Utility

Can split, combine, convert or reconfigure data files or a file directory containing the files.

Data Logging Software for DAQMASTER series Instruments

Linked with up to 20 MX100 data acquisition units, MXLOGGER lets you achieve high speeds in your data acquisition system. This software component provides an unprecedentedly user-friendly operating environment by means of advanced GUI functions.

Integrated Monitoring Software

This software comprises six menu options-Monitor Window, Detailed Display Setup, Channel Setup, Acquisition Conditions, System setup, and Link/ Delink.

Monitor Window

A real-time monitor for measured data. You can view both waveforms and digital data.

Detailed Display Setup

Use this menu option to specify display parameters for data (waveform color, etc.) shown in the monitor window.

Channel Setup

Use this menu option to individually configure input channels (ranges, etc.) or define computation channels (e.g., inputting computational expressions).

Acquisition Conditions

Use this menu option to set various conditions related to file acquisition (e.g., measurement interval, interval of data saving, start/end of measurement, and file name designation).

System Setup

Use this menu option to define, for example, module configuration. This module configuration is illustrated in an easily understood manner.

Easy Setup

This menu command automatically recognizes hard-wired MX100 units. Once configured, this command retains the link information.

Viewer Software

Redisplays saved data. With this software, you can call up waveform displays, digital displays and cursor-driven displays, and perform interval computation.

DX100/200

API for MX- and DARWIN-Series Units

This API is named MX190 and is not included in DAQWORX. Use this API when you want to develop your own software applications. It is composed of a set of functions designed for communication with MX/DARWIN-series units. These functions are available as a DLL (Dynamic Link Library). With the API, you can create data acquisition software for the MX series or DARWIN series, or for use with a system comprising both the MX and DARWIN series. Applicable programming languages are Visual C, Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

DAQEXPLORER provides an integrated desktop environment for managing DX/CX/MV-series units on the network.

AddMulti

Multi-Data Logging and Filing Software

(Note: If linked with MXLOGGER, AddMulti can only be used at one particular measurement interval of a single MX100 unit.)

With AddMulti, you can organize data logging channels into a maximum of 50 measurement groups, set logging conditions for the groups, and log data separately on a group-by-group basis. The data files thus logged are saved in separate files, also by group.

PC-based system requirements The PC-based system must be designed so that sufficient performance is ensured according to the combination of software components and/or the number of data acquisition channels. The following system requirements are recommended when DAQLOGGER is used and when the number of measurement channels is smaller than 400. PC main unit Capable of running Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows Me or Windows XP; CPU: Pentium III/800 MHz or later (Pentium IV/1 GHz or faster is recommended) Internal memory 256 MB or larger (a minimum of 512 MB is recommend in most cases for comfortable operation, though dependent on the performance of the graphic board). The required memory size may increase, however, depending on what additional software components the system will run. Hard disk A minimum free disk space of 100 MB is required.
