How to register Course description

The HP Imaging and Printing Sales Fundamentals Book imparts basic knowledge about the complete HP Imaging and Printing Portfolio in an interactive setting. Students are introduced to HP as a company and the benefits of working with HP as a partner. This course focuses on the HP imaging and printing strategy, products, technologies, sales strategies and HP Ecosolutions program to meet the needs of the customer. Students learn about the importance of color and how to sell it. Participants will have a clear understanding of HP Imaging and Printing products and the technologies that make us the leaders in the industry. Students explore the importance of business documents, document workflow and matching customers with the appropriate HP products and solutions to accommodate in-house development and printing of marketing collateral. HP Imaging and Printing Sales Fundamentals introduces the student to up-selling and cross-selling techniques, horizontal and vertical markets, and how these sales concepts can improve profit margins. Emphasis is placed on the importance of using genuine HP supplies and how it effects the performance of the imaging and printing devices. The HP Imaging and Printing Sales Fundamentals Book includes links to HP resources that will enhance the student's knowledge of imaging and printing environments in business settings. The student completes a series of exercises that allows them to practice the knowledge they have learned from the course along with using sales tools to create proposals for real world customer scenarios.

The HP Imaging and Printing Sales Fundamentals Course is appropriate for anyone new to imaging and printing sales as well as anyone who needs to update their knowledge of the HP Imaging and Printing Portfolio, HP Ecosolutions program and HP's competitive advantages.

Course objectives

Participants will be able to successfully sell the HP imaging and printing product and solutions portfolio. Participants will be able to utilize the advances in HP imaging and printing technologies and use these technologies to benefit their customers. Participants will also learn about HP Ecosolutions and be able to address green initiatives in their clients'

RFPs. The content learned in this course allows the participant to sit for the fundamentals certification. After completing the course, the student should be able to: · Define and understand the importance of business documents and color in the marketplace. · Realize how HP products, supplies and services form an integrated solution. · Describe the HP imaging and printing portfolio, solutions and technology strategies · Identify the specific needs and concerns of decision makers within a small to medium business (SMB) and create sales pitches to the various audiences. ·Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling. · Address green initiatives with the HP Ecosolutions program.
