I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free.

Acknowledgements

During a time like this we realize how much our family and friends mean to us. Your kind expression of sympathy will always be remembered. Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, As any friend could say. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much, whatever the part. Your thoughtfulness increases the faith we need to face the days to come with courage and hope.

May God continue to bless you.

Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister

A daughter, you'll never forget having; A mother, you'll love forever; A grandmother, who will always be in your heart; that's what grandma Joyce was to all of us. She would make you something sweet, which would make you smile. She would sit in church and sing a hymn to lift your spirit. On June 26, 2010 at 12:00a.m., we said goodbye to our friend, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. Even though she's gone, she will never be forgotten. She would not want us to grieve over her, but celebrate what a wonderful life she had. Jeylen Sutton
