HOW TO USE THE MAXAIR AUTOHALER

1. Remove mouthpiece cover by pulling down lip on back of cover. Locate "up" arrows on Maxair Autohaler. 2. Hold Autohaler upright. The arrows should point up. Raise lever so that it stays up. It will "snap" into place. 3. Hold the Autohaler around the middle. Shake it gently several times. 4. Continue to hold Maxair Autohaler upright. Do not block air vents at bottom of the Autohaler. Exhale normally before use. 5. Seal lips tightly around mouthpiece. 6. Inhale deeply through mouthpiece with steady force. You will hear a "click" when you trigger the release of medicine. Do not stop inhaling when you hear the click. Continue to take a full, deep breath. 7. Take Maxair Autohaler away from your mouth when done inhaling. 8. Hold your breath for 10 seconds, and then exhale slowly. 9. Continue to hold Maxair Autohaler upright while lowering the lever. Lower lever after each inhalation. 10. If your doctor has prescribed additional doses, wait on minute then repeat steps 2 through 6. 11. Following use, make sure lever is down and replace the mouthpiece cover.
