To make altar: 1. Fold in quarters lengthwise. 2. Fold down 1 inch to form top. 3. Tape or glue together To make ram: 1. Glue a small white pompom to a medium size white pompom to cotton ball. 2. Glue 4 brown or black pony beads to bottom of medium pompom for feet. 3. Cut two small "c" shaped pieces and glue one to each side of the small pompom for horns. 4. Use permanent marker to make two dots for eyes. You can make the altar and ram before class for younger students or older students can put them together in class, if desired.

Before class (for each child): · Print previous page on cardstock or tag board. Print this page on regular paper or cardstock. · Glue a strip of magnet across the wood on the altar and a small square of magnet between Abraham and the alter. · Glue a strip of magnet on the back of Isaac and on the back of the ram. · Cut along the dotted line by the bush. · Cut a 3 inch square and tape it behind the bush. In Class: · Color page, if desired. · Help the student put the ram through the slit into the paper pocket. · Place Isaac on the magnet by Moses. Let the students act out the story with by placing Isaac on the alter, removing Isaac and getting the ram and placing it on the altar.

Abraham and his Descendants Scripture Reference: Gen 15:5 Give each child a piece of black construction paper. Then give each child a small amount of paper stars. (print some colored stars out on the computer using cardstock paper/foil star stickers.) Allow them to glue their stars to the black paper, leaving some space between the stars. Next, give each child a piece of chalk (any color) and have them connect the stars and count the stars. Then glue the memory verse to the bottom of the page.
