Features

1. Small Inserts Increase Breakage Resistance and Feed Rates

Even though the inserts for the IASR/ASR-Mutli are smaller than conventional tools, breakage resistance has been greatly improved. This allows for feed rates as high as 1.5mm per tooth (0.059" per tooth).

The revolutionary JX Coating utilizes the world's first hybrid-coating technology to vastly improve lubricating characteristics as well as hardness, heat-resistance and chipping resistance. The JX1045 is ideal for general machining of steels, and the JX1015 is ideal for machining of pre hardened steels.

By improving the lubrication characteristics of the coating film, we succeeded in reducing flute tip adhesion. This reducessudden damage caused by adhesion.

· Particles with excellent self-lubricating characteristics have been added to greatly improve coating film characteristics under the high-temperature environment that occurs during cutting processes to offer the world's first multi-later coating using hybrid technology. · Machining efficiency is improved for high-speed, high-feed-rate cutting methods used in major roughing and semi-roughing processes for making plastic molds, press molds, etc. (1.5 times the efficiency of conventional tools when machining carbon steel and die steel). · Superior tool life is achieved in the high-feed-rate roughing and semi-roughing of plastic molds, press molds, etc. (double the tool life of conventional tools). · Since the friction coefficient (resistance) at high temperatures is low, chipping caused by adhesion at the insert tip is dramatically reduced, so that stable machining required for unmanned operation. can be performed (double the chipping resistance of conventional tools).
