Win 100 Million TreatsPoints Terms & Conditions Campaign period st Malayan Banking Berhad (3813-K) "Win 100 Million TreatsPoints" Campaign ("Campaign") shall run from 1 October 2010 to st 31 January 2011 (both dates inclusive) ("Campaign Period") ELIGIBILITY 1. 2. The following persons are NOT eligible to participate i. Maybankard Credit or Debit Card(s) not issued by Maybank or Maybank Islamic Malaysia; ii. Maybankard Cardmember(s) who is /are in default of facilities granted by Maybank at any time during the Campaign Period, subject to Maybank's sole and absolute discretion; Notwithstanding the above, Maybank shall have the sole and absolute discretion of deciding the eligibility of persons to participate in the Campaign. Eligible Cardmembers are required to spend a minimum of RM100 and above in a single receipt on retail transaction with their Credit or Debit Card(s) ("Qualifying Retail Transaction"). Each Qualifying Retail Transaction equals to one (1) entry only during the Campaign Period. Qualifying Retail Transaction refers to retail purchases both local and international, AutoPay, Utilities bill payment, online purchase, EzyPay, EzyPay Plus Plan and Touch n' Go Zing Card auto reload of minimum value of RM100 and above per retail transaction. Split Qualifying Retail Transactions are disallowed and shall be disqualified. Utilities bill payment include Tenaga Nasional bill, mobile bill, TM Net, Telekom bill, Astro bill and all merchants that accept Maybankard Master or Visa Credit or Debit Card. Supplementary Cardmembers are not eligible for this campaign; however, Supplementary Cardmembers transaction(s) will be aggregated to principal card and only the Principal Cardmember is Eligible to win. For the avoidance of doubt, "successfully approved Card Applicant" mean Card Application that is submitted and approved during the Campaign Period. Conditional approvals that are given for a Card Application, is not deemed to be a successfully approved Card Application. Eligible Cardmembers are entitled to unlimited number of Campaign entries. Campaign entries will be tracked from 1 October 2010 ­ 31 January 2011. Campaign entries will be tracked at Customer Level, i.e. spending on different cards will be accumulated and tracked. For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Cardmembers who have registered via SMS for Tier 2 of the Campaign are also eligible to participate in Tier 1 of the Campaign and vice-versa.

The Eligible Cardmembers must have at least 1 valid Maybankard Credit or Debit Card; or with new Approved Card application are eligible for the following Bonus Entry during the Campaign Period: Details Entry Personal Loan: i. 11. The Eligible Cardmember will be short-listed at the end of the Campaign Period based on the total number of Qualifying Retail Transactions that are posted on Maybank's system. The short-listed Eligible Cardmembers will be contacted by Maybank or its appointed representatives (at their latest telephone numbers furnished to Maybank as shown in Maybank's record) during office hours to answer a series of 10 questions. 12. In event Maybank or its appointed representative is unable to contact the short-listed Eligible Cardmember after 3 attempts and/ or the short-listed Cardmember does not wish to participate in the Campaign upon being contacted by Maybank or its appointed representatives, the short-listed Cardmember will be deemed to be disqualified from the Campaign. 13. The short-listed Eligible Cardmembers who answers all or the most number of the questions correctly in the fastest time will be declared as the Grand prize winner ("the Grand Prize Winner"). 14. Maybank will notify the Grand Prize Winner of the Contest either in writing or by telephone within 6-12 weeks from the end of the Campaign Period. If the short-listed Eligible Cardmembers do not receive any notification in writing from Maybank or is not contacted by Maybank, then it is deemed that the Eligible Cardmembers have not been selected as the Grand Prize Winner for the Contest. 15. All balance transfers, payment of annual fees, interest payments, late payment fees, charges for cash withdrawals, any refunded amount from retail transactions, any disputed retail transactions, unauthorized or fraudulent retail transactions, card advance withdrawals and any other form of service and/or miscellaneous fees shall not be taken into account in the calculation of `Qualifying Retail Transaction' for the purposes of this Contest. 16. Maybank reserves the sole and exclusive right to cancel any Qualifying Retail Transactions earned on the Charge or Credit Card accounts a. Where payment has been due for thirty (30) days or more and/or; b. Where the account(s) is suspected to have been operated fraudulently and/or; c. Any account(s) has otherwise been closed by Maybank. THE GRAND PRIZE: 5,000,000 TreatsPoints x 2 Cardmembers monthly 1. The Grand Prize of 5,000,000 TreatsPoints ("Grand Prize") will be awarded to Winner's Credit Card 2 weeks after the announcement of winner and Cardmember is limited to 1 time win only throughout the Campaign Period. The Grand Prize of 5,000,000 TreatsPoints are not exchangeable for cash or credit. Winners are not allowed to transfer or sell their Grand Prize to any other person. In the event that Grand Prize are awarded to and received by persons who have committed or are suspected of committing any fraudulent or wrongful acts in relation to the use of their Maybankard Credit Card (s) and/or any transactions made thereof, Maybank reserves the right to disqualify such persons from participating in this Promotion and/or from redeeming or using the Grand Prize.

TIER 2: 50,000 TreatsPoints to be given away monthly 1. To qualify for Tier 2 of the Campaign, Eligible Cardmembers are required to send a short message service ("SMS") text to Maybank stating their Maybankard MasterCard or Visa Credit or Debit Card number ("Registered Maybankard") during the Campaign Period in the following manner:

Type "50K<space>16-digit Maybankard card number" and send to 62628"

Note: Participants only need to register once for each card to participate Tier 2 reward

Eligible Cardmembers who receive an SMS confirmation from Maybank shall be entitled to participate in Tier 2 of the Campaign ("Participants"). Standard SMS cost of RM0.30 for each SMS shall be borne by the Participants. Participants are required to use any one of their registered Maybankard Credit or Debit Card(s) in the following manner to qualify for Tier 2 of the Campaign: a. b. Participants need to spend RM2,000 and above (in one or multiple transactions) on Qualifying Retail Transaction with their Registered Maybankard Card within the Campaign Period; The Qualifying Retails Transaction refers to any retail transaction (local or international)/ New Autopay/ EzyPay or EzyPay Plus Plan/ Online Bill Payment/ Mobile Bill Payment/ Online Shopping/ Touch n' Go Auto reload; The Qualifying Retail Transaction can be accumulated and must be posted on the Registered Maybankard Credit or Debit Card within the same month; Should participant holds more than one (1) Maybankard Credit or Debit Card, transaction from the different cards cannot be accumulated; The Registered Maybankard's Supplementary Card transaction(s) will be aggregated to principal card and only the Principal Cardmember is Eligible to win. The first 300 Participants who spend RM2,000 and above during the Campaign period will receive 50,000 TreatsPoints and Cardmember is limited to 1 time win only throughout the Campaign Period; st Transactions will be tracked from the date of confirmed SMS registration and subsequently from every 1 of the month till end of each calendar month during campaign period based on the posting date; During the Campaign period, Participants that won the Tier 2 reward are still in the running to participate for the Tier 1 reward-5,000,000 TreatsPoints. Winners will be notified by letter or their names published in the Maybank2u.com website or any other methods of communication chosen by Maybank at its absolute and sole discretion by 15 March 2011; The 50,000 TreatsPoints are not exchangeable for cash or credit. Winners are not allowed to transfer or sell their 50,000 TreatsPoints to any other person. The 50,000 TreatsPoints will be credited into the Registered Maybankard Credit or Debit Card 2 weeks after the announcement.

Other Terms & Conditions

1. By participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Cardmembers hereby expressly agree to be bound by the official rules

and regulations as stated herein, including decisions of the Bank which are final, binding and conclusive. No further correspondence appeal will be entertained.

2. All Qualifying Transactions recorded by Maybank shall be final and conclusive. 3. Maybank shall not be liable for any event not limited to and to Eligible Cardmembers arising from any act of God, war,

riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, technical or system failure or any event that is beyond the reasonable control of Maybank.

4. The terms and conditions herein are in addition to and without prejudice to the terms and conditions stated in the card

agreement. In the event of any conflict between terms and conditions herein and the terms and conditions in the credit or debit card agreement, the Bank's decisions as to which terms and conditions should prevail will be final, conclusive and binding .

5. Maybank reserves the sole and exclusive right at it absolute and sole discretion to vary, delete, amend or modify any of

these terms and conditions of the campaign with 21 days prior notice. These terms and conditions may be modified, amended or varied by Maybank by posting the same on the Website www.maybank2u.com or by any other mode that

Maybank shall deem fit. Maybank shall not be liable for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Eligible Cardmembers as a direct or indirect result of the cancellation, variation, amendment, termination or suspension.

6. The Eligible Cardmembers are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of this Campaign by participating in

this Campaign (as modified and varied from time to time).
