ABOUT THE SEMINAR LEADER Dr. Jack Cook is a professor, speaker, author, and consultant. He is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). His areas of expertise include Supply Chain Management, Lean Thinking, Information Systems, Operations Management and Electronic Commerce. Jack's extensive experience teaching and training over the last two decades includes over one hundred conference presentations and numerous journal articles. He has an entertaining and engaging approach and is known for bringing theories to life, resulting in him being honored five teaching awards. Dr. Cook is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) as well as a Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE). He is a CPIM certification instructor, and has developed and delivered many seminars and on-site training programs. His education includes a Ph.D. in Business Administration, an MS in Computer Science, an MBA, an MA in Mathematics, and a BS in Computer Science. Dr. Cook earned his CPSM in 2008.

Participants will gain an understanding of the CPSM test module not currently covered in C.P.M. testing and recertification The course begins with a brief overview of exam content areas, question format and types, exam characteristics and test-taking tips. CPSM Bridge Exam candidates will spend most of the course working on activities tied to tasks weighted most heavily in the exam specification and where candidates may expect the most exam questions on the exam. Students will have the opportunity to identify areas for further study using ISMTM published study materials and other resources. Attending this course does not guarantee successful completion of the exams.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND Any supply chain professional who currently holds their C.P.M. certification and wishes to obtain their CPSM certification.

The suggested study material books are Leadership in Supply Management, Effective Supply Management Performance, and Foundation of Supply Management.


Registration fee includes continental breakfast and breaks. The price is determined by the date payment is received. Payment must be received prior to attending.
