DAY 1 Meditation: Love is knowing and keeping God's commandments. Let the spirit of love flourish in the heart of every believer in New Birth- Charlotte. Prayer Point: Over the next 21 days, ask God to give you an increase of faith to demonstrate His love to everyone you come in contact with. Scriptures: John 13:34-35, I Corinthians 13:4-8a, Matthew 22:37-40 DAY 2 Meditation: Unity is the state or condition of being one. Let us pray that the spirit of unity will infiltrate the community of New Birth-Charlotte. As we join on one accord, expect to experience the power of God in a way you have never experienced before. Prayer Point: We want to see the manifestation, experience the benefits of walking in unity and see the spirit of unity throughout the Church universal. Scriptures: Psalm. 133, John 17:20 DAY 3 Meditation: Covenant is the joining of the Lord. The Lord has set us where we are supposed to be. Therefore, we know that we are joined to God first, the set ministry (Bishop Murphy), to one another, and to the regions and nations of the world. Prayer Point: We want to embrace the pattern and principle of covenant and be committed to live them daily. Scriptures: Matthew 19:1-6, I Cor. 12:18, John 5:19 DAY 4 Meditation: Let us desire a more intimate relationship with God. Scriptures: Joshua 23:8, Psalm 63:8, Isaiah 55:6 DAY 5 Meditation: The Lord has given us the strength and grace we need to endure as we learn to embrace the process of life. As we shift into the apostolic, we must depend on the wisdom, leading, and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Prayer Point: As we embrace our process, let our hearts and ears be inclined to receive the impartation that will come from this fast and OCCUPY 2011. Scripture: Phil. 3:12-14 DAY 6 Meditation: Let the spirit of prayer fall upon us. When we pray, the will of God is revealed to us for our individual lives and as a corporate body. As an apostolic people, it is imperative that we pray without ceasing. Prayer Point: The Lord shall hear us when we pray; it shall come up before Him as a sweet incense. We want to see our lives and the life of New Birth-Charlotte completely transformed as we shift into the apostolic. Scripture: I Thessalonians. 5:17 DAY 7 - Meditation: As you fast, instead of focusing on what you are giving up, focus on His Kingdom being manifested in the earth. The Kingdom of God is on the inside of you; therefore, let us continue to petition the Lord to let His Kingdom come and let His will be done on earth (in me) as it is in Heaven. Prayer Point: Let the object of your focus during this time of fasting and prayer be upon the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. The Kingdom of God is advancing. Scriptures: Matthew 6:33, Luke 17:20, John 14:20-21 DAY 8 Meditation: This is the hour where the true worshippers of God shall come forth. During this time of consecration, let there be a greater compassion, hunger, and desire toward worshipping the Only True and Living God. Prayer Point: Let us worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, for God is seeking such. Let us lay down our lives daily as we seek the life of Christ through worship. Scriptures: Psalm 5:7, I Chronicles 16:29
