Treymendous is out of Royal Serena Belle, reserve champion of the 1996 NCHA Futurity under Lloyd Cox. Simpkins was also a leader in the first go-round with 218.5 points on Hissy Cat, who he rides today in the fourth bunch for Jennifer and Jeffrey Foland of Weatherford. "He's showed well every time," said Rice of the Peptoboonsmal gelding. "When you've got a good horse like him, you don't want to mess it up," he added. "You just want to get through to the money round where you can have a shot at them." The Super Stakes is tCopaspepto's first show since Memphis. "He's been resting a little bit," said Rice. "I haven't shown him anywhere else at all and he's pretty strong feeling. He wants to please every day." Rice also rides Bowmans Fancy Lena for St. Nick's Pines in today's fourth bunch.

Copaspepto

Copaspepto, earner of more than $160,000, as an NCHA Futurity finalist and winner of the Abilene Spectacular and Memphis Futurity, tallied a cumulative 435.5 points (third-highest) with Tag Rice for Marvine Ranch.

Boiler Room

Boiler Room, ridden by Paul Hansma for Bar H Ranche, Weatherford, TX, tied Treymendous with 219 points, as yesterday's number two high-scoring performer, and has the fourth-highest cumulative of 434 points. "I was glad to get him shown," said

Hansma of the Dual Pep son out of Capoo. "He was supposed to be a really nice horse, but I didn't show him well at the Futurity. "I was kind of frustrated with my first cow (yesterday). I couldn't find the one I wanted, so that was a shape cut. The second one I liked and cut it, and on my third cow, I knew I had to come cutting. I didn't want to ease on through. I knew the cow and thought, I'm going for it, and it worked." Boiler Room, named for the 2000 movie with Ben Affleck, about a lessthan-reputable brokerage firm, was bred and raised by Bar H Ranche, a perennial leading breeder and the number one breeder of cutting horses with $948,596 in earnings, in 2006. Ha nsma, who ma nages Ba r H Ranche for owner Bobby Pidgeon, Germantown, TN, was the leading trainer in 2006 in terms of earnings, with $717,173.
