The Office Furniture Group...A perfect blend of innovation, design, stewardship and social responsibility.

The Office Furniture Group (OFG) has provided innovative office furniture solutions for over 70 years to the military, federal law enforcement, and federal civilian agencies. Because we are a federal agency like you, no one understands your needs better than we do. In developing the highest level of innovative products, we are focused on creating working environments that revolve around your needs...developing total solutions that have their basis in design, functionality, sustainability, and products.

Working together to make a difference! Environmental Stewardship

One of OFG's highest priorities is a commitment to providing our customers with environmentally sound products that will make their business environment and their lives more meaningful and productive. Our group's focus is on creating quality products while simultaneously respecting the environment. In support of our environmental commitment, OFG's full range of products are manufactured in leadingedge, nationwide facilities with ISO 9001:2000 certification. Our organizations commitment to the environment includes the use of renewable sources, post-consumer materials, the use of no VOCs, water-based finishes, as well as recycled materials left over from the manufacturing process. Additionally, careful consideration is given to packaging needs to reduce potential waste generation. OFG products are in full compliance with the low-emitting furniture standards of BIFMA and the U.S. Green Building Council. Independent testing has shown that our Crescendo panel system and Classic XXI and XXI Notes workstations meet standards equal to those required for Greenguard© certification. the federal prison system being more productive citizens upon their release, saving taxpayers money, and greatly benefiting society. As part of our organization's overall social responsibilities, The Office Furniture Group integrates UNICOR's inmate job skills program into every facet of our operation. The job skills program ranges from instilling a basic work ethic and improving self-esteem to learning trade-specific expertise. Workers are dedicated to transforming their lives by learning marketable skills that they can use for their future work experience, so they do not return to prison following their release.

Innovation & Design

Our space planners understand the process of design for government interiors. UNICOR space planners and designers have one common objective--developing products that are meticulously designed to support employee productivity, health, comfort, retention, and a high-performance workplace culture. Our design insight carries through to OFG's full repertoire of products ranging from beautifully finished traditional wood case goods, ergonomic chairs and seating products, executive furniture, modular workstations, and flexible customized systems furniture. Our capabilities include a fully equipped Product Development Center where office furniture items are designed, prototyped, and tested to meet exacting customer and industry standards.
