David Euler, L.Ac. is a recognized authority on modern Japanese styles of acupuncture and their integration with Traditional Chinese Styles and Western Medicine. As Faculty and clinical supervisor David taught palpation based Japanese Acupuncture for several years at the New England School of Acupuncture. He has worked in close collaboration with Kiiko Matsumoto for over 13 years and has taught the Kiiko style of acupuncture in many places around the world. David also teaches an on-going course of acupuncture for the Harvard Medical School, Department of Continuing Education. This course emphasizes the Japanese style of acupuncture with a strong hands-on aspect. This style of acupuncture, based in part on Kiiko Matsumoto's teachings utilizes a systematic, easy to learn, palpatory method which is designed to provide instant feedback. When using this system, a practitioner follows a palpation sequence which, both establishes a diagnosis and suggests several treatment options which might be effective for treating a particular patient. The eclectic nature of a palpation based style of acupuncture gives the practitioner a wide number of viable options from which to choose to create an effective treatment plan that addresses the individual needs of each patient. This style of acupuncture is imminently suited to the diverse needs of our patient population.

Here'swhatothershavetosayabouttheteachingsof DavidEuler:

"David has a very dynamic teaching style. I have been studying with him and the newest Kiiko texts for over two years and it has completely shaped my practice. Kiiko style acupuncture is fun and so effective. I just love it!" MP, TX "David's definitely got the `good teacher mojo' in a very intriguing, fun, effective, and easy to learn style of acupuncture. He takes Kiiko's in-depth study of the Chinese classics, blends them with the most contemporary western physiological concepts, mixes it with only clinically effective treatment outcomes, and voila!" WAW, TX This course definitely helped me to expand the scope of my practice and working on the root causes of each patient!" OKG, Costa Rica "Kiiko's Matsumoto's work transformed my practice of acupuncture, giving me confidence in treating a variety of conditions. David Euler has enhanced Kiiko's brilliant synthesis of Japanese acupuncture, modern medicine, and the Chinese Classics with his Western medical training, anatomical knowledge, and vast clinical experience." GM, TX "I have found Kiiko Matsumoto style acupuncture to be one of the most effective treatment modalities in pain relief. This style relieves pain FAST by addressing the immune system and reducing inflammatory responses. It resets the major systems in the body from a hyper/hypo functioning state to a neutral, balanced state beginning with the very first treatment; allowing the body to do what it already knows to do intrinsically. The results never cease to amaze me or the people I treat! " MM, TX Kiiko style acupuncture is great a hands on system, literally you use you hands a lot. It's a great system to build confidence in young practioners with only TCM on their tool belt. David is an incredible teacher, well prepared, with great lectures. SA, TX "Give me more!!!!" KN, Wisconsin

Someofthemanybenefitsofpalpationbasedacupuncture:

tIts palpatory diagnostic methods offer the practitioner an instant measure as to the effectiveness of their treatment. tIt combines classical Chinese medical principles and Japanese needling style with modern pathophysiology to facilitate understanding and brings out the best in both. tThere is a technique suitable for any patient. As a rule the needling methods are shallow and virtually painless, using the smallest gauge needles. However, where needling is contraindicated, there are numerous highly effective non-invasive techniques. t"You treat what you feel". If the reflex is not present, or if specific treatment points do not significantly change the reflex quality, then other treatment options are considered.
