The NPMA Certification Program has three levels of achievement:

CPPS

Certified Professional Property Specialist

CPPA

Certified Professional Property Administrator

CPPM

Certified Professional Property Manager

NPMA membership is required for participation in the NPMA Certification Program

Specialist ­ "CPPS"

· New to property, or · Work as a specialist in a specific area

(e.g., shipping, receiving, or inventory)

The Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) designation is for you

Administrator ­ "CPPA"

· Worked in property for three + years, and · Variety of work experience in at least seven functional areas The Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) is for you

Manager ­ "CPPM"

· Worked in property for six + years, and · Work experiences in at least seven functional areas, and · Four + years of managerial experience The Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) designation is for you

Manager ­ "CPPM"

Managerial experience?

· Supervision, Decision-Making, or Management of Resources.

­ Includes Project Management; Program Management; Financial Management (Budget); Team Leadership; and Sole Property Manager in an organization, corporation, agency, etc.

Consulting Fellow ­ "CF"

· The Consulting Fellow (CF) recognition is the highest recognition bestowed on its members by NPMA (not a certification level) · CF's are expected to have made significant and continuous contributions to the field of property management

· CF's are the core group of property/asset management technical experts who will mentor the next generation of property managers, educate NPMA members, perpetuate the literature of property/asset management, and provide leadership in the property management field. This core group is known as the "Council of Fellows"
