Love Language Evaluation For Husband and Wife

Print two copies and each spouse should rate how he/she feels about each sentence within each group by assigning a number from 1 to 5, with 5 representing what you MOST appreciate and makes you feel the MOST loved, and 1 representing what you LEAST appreciate. Sentences in each group should be ranked from 1 to 5 and each number must be used once. No repeating numbers with a group. Note that some questions distinguish between male and female. Answer appropriately according to gender. Answer appropriately according to gender. When you are done, you can transfer your scores to the score sheet on the second page!

Group One A B C D E Your spouse says, "You really did a great job on that. I appreciate it!" Your spouse unexpectedly does something in or around the house or your room that you appreciate. Your spouse brings you home a surprise treat from the store. Your spouse invites you to go on a lesurely walk just to chat. Your spouse make a point to embrace and kiss you before leaving the house.

Group Two A B Your spouse tells you how much he or she appreciates you. Your spouse (male) volunteers to do the dishes and encourages you to relax. Your spouse (female) volunteers to wash your car and encourages you to relax. C Your spouse (male) brings you flowers, just because he cares. Your spouse (female) brings you home a special food treat from the local bakery. D E Your spouse invites you to sit down and talk about your day. Your spouse gives you a hug even when you are just passing by room to room.

Group Three A B C D E Your spouse during a party shares about a recent success you had. Your spouse cleans out your car. Your spouse surprises you with an unexpected gift. Your spouse surprises you with a special afternoon trip. Your spouse holds your hand as you walk through the mall or stands by your side with an arm around your shoulder at a public event.

Group Four A B C D E Your spouse praises you about one of your special qualities. Your spouse brings you breakfast in bed. Your spouse surprises you with a membership to something you always wanted. Your spouse plans a special night out for the two of you. Your spouse will personally drive you to an event instead of you having to go on the bus with the team.

Your spouse takes the time to fill out the long complicated applications that you had hoped to get to this evening. Your spouse sends you something special through the mail. Your spouse kidnaps you for lunch and takes you to your favorite restaurant. Your spouse gives you a massage.
