NCHA - CIA CHARITIES FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGAM

The NCHA CIA Charities Foundation's top priorities are the education of our youth and assistance to NCHA families in times of crisis. NCHA Charities has provided $1,829,750 in scholarship funds to children of NCHA members. The scholarship varies depending on the applicant's financial need. The NCHA Charities Foundation supports these scholarships through individual donations. The applicant OR one immediate family member of the applicant must be an active NCHA member in good standing for the past three years.

Anyone interested in making donations to support an existing scholarship fund can do so by contacting the NCHA Office. Checks should be made payable to the NCHA-CIA Charities Foundation. It is important to include a note specifying which fund or funds should be given credit for the donation. Application packets are mailed out to all members age 17 21 during the first quarter each year and are also posted on the youth website at nychaonline.com. APPLICATION MUST BE POSTMARKED BY June 1st to be considered. Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status as soon as selection has been made. Questions regarding scholarships can be directed to NCHA Youth Coordinator, Dayna Smith, at (817) 244-6188 or [email protected]
