This presentation provides the attendees with information that will equip them to make economical decisions based on an ideal configuration for feeder routes for a small or large city or area. Understanding and Optimizing MDU Optical Cabling Systems Track(s): Technology - Understanding and Optimizing MDU Optical Cabling Systems Speaker: John George, Director, Systems and Applications Engineering Tuesday, September 23 - 3:45PM - 4:30PM, Room: Ryman Ballroom D The latest options for fiber cabling systems that deliver FTTH services to apartment and condominium units will be described and analyzed for cost, reliability, and performance. New technologies such as plug and play indoor cabling systems, bend insensitive fiber cables, and spooled distribution systems will be considered along with traditional splicing based approaches.
