Leadership in Individual and Social Responsibility Awards Olivet College confers Leadership in Individual and Social Responsibility Awards annually to honor individuals or organizations whose contributions in the state of Michigan exemplify the best of what it means to be a responsible leader in today's complex world. The award also recognizes individuals who have made significant and important contributions to the growth and development of Olivet College. Further, these awards offer the college an opportunity to showcase role models for students. The honorees are individuals or organizations of character and competence that exemplify The Olivet College Compact and academic vision, Education for Individual and Social Responsibility. Past Leadership in Individual and Social Responsibility Award recipients include: 2012 David Hayhow, Chairman of the Olivet College Board of Trustees David Campbell, Former superintendent, Olivet Public Schools 2011 Rev. Michael Fales '75, Director of Service Learning and Campus Ministries, Olivet College Carol Goss, President and CEO, The Skillman Foundation Dr. Joan Jackson Johnson, Owner and Director, The East Lansing Center for the Family 2010 Patricia Mooradian, President of The Henry Ford Steve '82 and Melinda '82 Roznowski, President of The Christman Company, a Michigan based real estate and construction firm Don '85 and Louise Tuski, former Olivet College President Miles Vieau, owned or operated a number of successful businesses in Michigan.
