Michigan Bosniaca Bibliography Supplement 2 (October 2001)

PREFACE

This document extends the project initiated in fall 1995 by the Working Group on Southeast European Studies at the University of Michigan to prepare a comprehensive bibliography of the University's Bosniaca holdings--works from or primarily about Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first edition, with over 2,700 items in various formats, was published in February 1997. In the first supplement, published in May 1998, we listed over 500 additional items that fall under the rubric of Bosniaca. This second supplement includes over 800 Bosniaca items that were acquired between May 1998 and September 2001. For copies of the first edition and first supplement of the University of Michigan Bosniaca bibliography as well as other Bosniaca bibliographies and articles, please see "Cuprija: Friends of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina," a website developed in November 1997 by Dr. Kemal Bakarsic and his students in the Department of Librarianship, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo: <http://www.soros.org.ba/~cuprija/>. From September 2001 "Cuprija" web site was transformed in more complex `OpenBook' project: <http://www.openbook.ngo.ba/>.University of Michigan Bosniaca Bibliographies are available at `OpenBook Quaterly' web site: <http://www.openbook.ngo.ba/quaterly/>. Acknowledgments We would like to thank the Working Group on Southeast European Studies at the University of Michigan for its support for the Bosniaca project and Marija Rosic, University of Michigan Slavic Department Lecturer, for her assistance in reviewing this supplement. We would like to express our special appreciation to Dr. Kemal Bakarsic for his collaboration and continuing support for this undertaking. October 2001 Janet Crayne Donna Parmelee
