E-Filing and dotGrants

Would you like an easier and more efficient way to file your required PennDOT and Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) forms? Use Municipal Statistics e-filing! PennDOT Municipal Services and DCED's staff will provide a half-day joint training series titled "New Procedures for Submitting your Municipality's PennDOT and DCED forms." PennDOT's new web-based system known as "dotGrants" is now available for completing the required PennDOT forms. The system will greatly reduce time and errors for municipal officials. DCED's Municipal Statistics e-filing system allows municipalities to complete the Tax Information form, the Elected and Appointed Officials form, the Survey of Financial Conditions form, and the Annual Financial Report in record time. DCED staff will demonstrate how to complete the registration process and explain how to easily navigate the system. DCED's e-file system requires internet access using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0. At the conclusion of the half-day training session, you will know the process for e-filing your municipality's PennDOT and DCED forms. Training will be conducted primarily in the PennDOT District Offices. Other facilities will be used on an as needed basis.
