1997 ­1998 Project Engineer, Manufacturing Industry (sheet metal and wood) · Main assignment was layout design, equipment purchase, and transfer during the consolidation of six plants under one, state of the art, manufacturing facility. · Designed sheet metal fabrication facility layout, while optimizing material flow. · Installed automatic powder coating paint line for manufactured sheet metal parts. · Maximized raw material storage space by designing 24-ft high cantilever racks. Project included designing, fabrication, and installation of storage structures. · Extensively used Auto CAD during this role. · Assignments also included time motion studies to evaluate the machine utilization, process efficiency and cost justification for new equipment purchase.
