On a perilous night, in an unknown place, a child, Mana is born and breathes the breath of life. TONGA HAWAI I , Kindly villagers welcome the little one and his parents to their new home. Mana grows, and the village celebrates his early years of life.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of Polynesia while providing scholarships for hundreds of Polynesian students attending the adjacent university. After completing their education, many return to their native islands to provide needed services and skills.

Native Polynesians in colorful, traditional costumes treat you to rousing dance and music of their cultures atop doublehulled canoes.

LAIE TRAM TOUR

The Mission Settlement includes the Mission Home, School House and Chapel. Contributions that the Christian missionaries made in Hawai i include housing and education. They introduced quilting which the Hawaiians adapted to their own art form. Observe our heirloom quilts, handmade crafts and quilts for sale. Choose from a wide variety of ukuleles for sale. Lauhala rose and lei making available in the School House.
