Practice Fusion Quickstart Guide

Step 1: Welcome!

Log in to your EHR at practicefusion.com/go Explore your training resources Here's how:

Your account is loaded with five test patients in the Charts section to help you practice features.

Practice ID: Go Live date:

How to use this Quickstart Guide: This is your roadmap to getting started with your new EHR account. Get your Practice ID from the Welcome Email you were sent, decide on a Go Live date and write them both in the bubbles above, 2-4 weeks is the average. Follow the steps to the left and check off boxes as you complete each task. Refer to the EHR Assistant bar on the right side of the EHR for video tutorials at any time.

a) Click on the Get Started link in the EHR Assistant bar on the right side of your EHR account

Step 2: Add Patients

Try adding an individual patient to your EHR Here's how:

Email [email protected] to request a free import of all your patients. Our team will complete the import for you.

a) In the upper right corner of the EHR, click on the add patient button b) Enter the patient's information then click the Search for existing button c) If no existing patient is found, you can add the patient to your account by clicking the Create as New Patient button

Quick Tips

Print this guide and post it in your office. It's OK to experiment with the features! You can deactivate test data from your account any time.

Step 3: Add Users

Try adding a user to your EHR account Here's how:

a) Enter the Admin section at the top of the EHR b) Click on the Users tab in the upper left corner

Add each person in your practice to your EHR account so they can get started too. You'll share a single Practice ID, but each have a unique username.

Plan for about 10 minutes to learn and practice the simple features, and about 20 minutes for the more complex ones. Want to learn more about our company? Take a tour by visiting www.practicefusion.com/tour. Video training is available in the EHR Assistant bar on the right side of the EHR and wherever you see this icon:

c) In the upper right corner, click on the Add New User(s) button d) Enter your colleagues' information, then select an Edit Level based on their role in the practice e) Click the Add New Users button

Continue your training by clicking on the EHR Assistant bar on the right side of the EHR and enter the Learn section. In the Learning Center, each feature listed contains training videos. Complete the tasks below with a test patient after watching the videos. Start a chart note Add a diagnosis and medication Create a template Schedule an appointment Send a Superbill from a chart note Activate your e-Prescribing in the e-Scripts section at the top of the EHR Activate your lab integrations in the Labs section at the top of the EHR Send a secure message in the Messages section at the top of the EHR Upload a document in the Documents section at the top of the EHR and assign it to a patient Go to the Admin section at the top of the EHR to customize your account
