Check-In

We will be pre-swiping credit cards at check-in as a secure and convenient way to expedite the payment of your items and donations. Please have your credit card ready when you check-in. Pre-swiping your card will eliminate the need to see the cashier at the end of the evening.

Auction Protocol

All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds are possible. Payment in full is due on auction night by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. Tax deductions and other consideration are the responsibility of the purchaser. Only the amount paid in excess of fair market value of a purchase may be considered a charitable contribution by the purchaser. Items must be removed from the premises the night of purchase and will be released upon presentation of your paid receipt furnished at check-out. Please honor the terms and conditions of any item you buy. All auction items and services must be used by the dates specified. Gift certificates are valid for one year unless otherwise noted.

Silent Auction

Each item in the Silent Auction has a bid sheet. To bid, enter your bid number and the amount of your bid on that sheet. Opening bids must be no less than the amount stated on the bid sheet. Subsequent bids must equal or exceed the minimum raise stated on the bid sheet. Bids will be disqualified if the raise is not sufficient. Do not place bids after the auction table is closed and please do not circle the final bid. Circled bids will be disqualified. Do not remove items or bid sheets from the Silent Auction tables.

Live Auction

The Live Auction will begin at approximately 9:45pm and continue until all items are sold.

Check-Out Instructions

Check-out opens at 9:30pm. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, cash or check. After paying for your items, you may redeem them with your receipt. If you chose our speedy check-out option, you can take the items you won with you and skip check-out. Your credit card will be charged for any purchases you made. If you purchased any items that have certificates (i.e. parties), you can either pick them up at the check-out area or you can pick them up in the office at school anytime the following week.

First Friday Art Show in the Crossroads

Ever been to a First Friday in the Crossroads? Thousands of people wandering from gallery to gallery in search of that perfect piece of artwork (or that perfect glass of wine) in an urban, edgy part of town. What if the cool, hip artist was your kid? This item is one-of-a-kind experience for 20 Prairie Elementary artists to display their work in a real Crossroads art gallery alongside work from Corinth Elementary and St. Paul's Episcopal Day School. Mrs. Sloan will work with your student to help pick the perfect art piece for their show. Along with the art opening there will be games, music, snacks and refreshments for both kids and adults. The event will take place on the first Friday next May: May 4, 2012 $50 per child
