Introduction: I am presenting to why I believe Yahweh is the proper name for God the creator of the heavens and earth. I call the Creator Yahweh because there are many gods, but only one Yahweh! The word god is an English word that means deity and is a translation of the Hebrew word Ehl pronounced and spelled in the English language as El1. When used alone, this word does not make it clear to which god I am speaking of. If you were talking to a Muslim, and you kept saying god, he might think you are talking about Allah and a Chinese may think you are talking about Buddha. I want people, no matter who they are to know that when I speak of my God, I am speaking of Yahweh. Therefore as He has given us His name in His Holy Scriptures, I call Him by that name, which is Yahweh. Generally speaking, every one who calls himself a Christian will tell you that they believe that the Holy Scriptures (Bible) is the Word of Yahweh (God). If they truly believe that, then they should use the name He gave to us in Exodus.2 Exodus 3:15. "And Elohim said further to Mosheh, "Thus you are to say to the children of Yisrael (Israel), Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Yitshaq (Isaac), and the Elohim of Yaaqob (Jacob), has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations." (Institute for Scripture Research pg. 59) Psalms 30:4. Sing praise to the LORD (Yahweh), you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. (Holy Bible, NKJV, Nelson, p. 798) "The proper Name of the Supreme God amongst the Hebrews." HWF Gesenius (pg. 337 Strong's 3068.) "Lord" is not an innocent title. We trace back to Roman house-deity, and further back to the name of an Etruscan sovereign, Larth, not forgetting that in those days the sovereigns were deities! So this is transgression of the clear command of Exodus 23:13. (Institute for Scripture Research pg.1217.)

Here are just a few other quotes from the Holy Scriptures where Yahweh's name is used by His prophets and leaders. Exodus 20:7 You do not bring the Name of Yahweh your Elohiym to nothing, for Yahweh will not leave the one unpunished who brings his Name to nothing. (Mosheh pg. 78.) Exodus 20:2 I am Yahweh your Elohiym who brought you out of the land of Egypt out of the House of slavery. (Mosheh pg. 78.) Leviticus 1:1 And Yahweh called to Mosheh and spoke to him from the tent of meeting saying... (Mosheh pg. 104.) Exodus 9:16 "And for this reason I have raised you up, in order to show you My power, and in order to declare My Name in all the earth. (Mosheh pg. 66.) The majority of the Bibles, translated into English, have the title God, Lord, and in some Adonai has been substituted for Yahweh, but if you use an Interlinear Bible that shows the original Hebrew with the new translation, you will see that the title god has been translated from the tetragrammaton (YHWH) which is Yahweh without the vowels.3 We see this in Gesenius on page 337 of the Holy Scriptures. The later Hebrews, misled by a false interpretation of certain laws or else following some old superstition, regarded this Name as so very Holy, that it might not even be pronounced. Therefore, when the tetragrammaton (YHWH in English) occurred in the scared text, they substituted it with Adonai.4 Below are more scriptures using the name Yahweh. It is important to Yahweh that we use His proper name.5 He wants us to know who He is and that He has a name.6 That is why He gave us the Holy Scriptures.7

Isaiah 42:8 I am Yahweh: that is My Name: and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols. (Isaiah pg. 446) Psalms 22:22. I make known your name to my brothers; in the midst of the assembly I praise You. (David p. 657) Psalms 102:21. To declare the name of Yahweh in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem. (David p. 702) Isaiah 12:4. And in that day you shall say praise Yahweh, call upon his name; make known deeds among the peoples make mention that His name is exalted. (Isaiah pg. 422) Jeremiah 50:34. Their redeemer is strong Yahweh of hosts is His name. He shall strongly plead their case, so as to give rest to the land, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babel. (Jeremiah pg. 521) Amos 4:13 For look, he who forms mountains, and creates the wind, and who declares to man what His thought is, and makes the morning darkness, and who treads the high places of the earth, Yahweh Elohiym of hosts is His Name. (Amos pg.612.) Micah 5:4. And he shall stand and Shepard in the strength of Yahweh in the excellence of the Name of Yahweh His Elohiym. And they shall dwell. For at that time He shall be great, to the ends of the earth. (Micah pg. 621.) Are you wondering what the New Testament says about His name? The New Testament was originally translated from Hebrew into Greek.8 Erasmus Rotterdam ...early reformer...original manuscripts and published a Greek Manuscript of the New Testament... (Stanton and Hyma p. 362) While reading the New Testament, try to remember that the original was translated from Hebrew into Greek to help the Gentiles understand.9 The Roman church was trying to hide the truth from the people and kept to their Latin translation.10 Below are some quotes from the New

Testament, showing that Yahweh's name was still important to Him even after His son Yashuah was born. Acts. 15:17 So that the remnant of mankind shall seek Yahweh, even all the gentiles on whom my Name has been called, says Yahweh who is doing all this. (Peter pg. 1068.) Luke 1:32. He shall be great, and shall be called the son of the Most High and Yahweh Elohiym shall give him the throne of his father David. (Luke pg. 979.) Matthew 4:4 But he answering said it has been written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of Yahweh. Verse 7 Yashuah said to him it has also been written you shall not try Yahweh your Elohiym. (Matthew pg. 919.) Matthew 1:22 And all this came to be in order to fill what was spoken by Yahweh through the prophet... Verse 24 And Joseph awaking from his sleep did as the messenger of Yahweh commanded him and took his wife. (Matthew pg. 917.) In the last book of the Holy Scriptures, Revelation, the writer continues to use the proper name of the Creator, which is Yahweh. Revelation 21:22. And I saw no dwelling place in it for Yahweh El Shaddai is its dwelling place and the Lamb. (John pg. 1209.) Revelation 19:13. And having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood- and His Name is called the Word of Yahweh. (John pg. 1207.) Revelation 16:5. And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, you are righteous of Yahweh, and one who is and who was and who shall be, because you have judged these. (John pg. 1204.) Even Yahweh's only born son, came to reveal the name of His Father again. 11 The ancestors had tried to hide the name of the Father, and Yashuah had to bring it out again.12 John 17:26 "And I have made Your Name known to them, and shall make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me might be in them, and I in them." Jeremiah 23:26-27 "...prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My Name for Baal." Hebrews 2:12. ...I shall announce your Name to my brothers in the midst of the congregation I shall sing praise to you. (Shaul (Paul) pg. 1163.) John 17:6. I have revealed your Name to the men who you gave me out of the world. They were yours and you gave them to me and they have guarded your word. (John pg. 1041.) "The prohibition against the pronoun citation of the name of God applies only to the Tetragrammaton which could be pronounced by the high priest only once a year on the Day of Atonement in the Holy of Holies. Talmud expresses it: "Not as I am written am I pronounced". I am written yod he van he, and I am pronounced alet dalet (nun yod, i.e. Adonai; kid.71A)." (Lew White page 15) In Biblical times, as stated at the beginning, some thought that the name of Yahweh was so Holy that it should not be spoken.13 Those people started to hide his name.14 Of course, if one was to consider Satan and how he does not want anyone to follow Yahweh, he can easily say that Satan probably had something to do with this. The scribes started removing Yahweh's name from the Holy Scriptures as well as creating their own book, The Talmud, which they tried to put on the same level as the Bible.15 YHWH. The personal name... written in the Hebrew Bible with the four consonants YHWH and is referred to as the "Tetragrammaton". At least until the destruction of the First Temple in586 B.C.E. this name was regularly pronounced with it's proper vowels, as is clear from the Lachish Letters, written shortly after that date. But at Least by the third century B.C.E. the pronunciation of the name YHWH was avoided and Adonai, "The Lord", was substituted for it. (Isyrael Hawkins pg. 14.) Rabbinical Judaism filled with the errors of the Oral Law as ever. The customs of the "fathers" (man made human traditions from the Oral law) were the hypocrisy

which Yahshua kept throwing up to the Pharisees and Sadducees. (Lew White pg. 148.) Yahweh wants all those who believe on him to call him by His name. Malachi 3:16-18 Then shall those who fear Yahweh speak to one another, and Yahweh listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who fear Yahweh, and those who think upon His Name. And they shall be Mine," said Yahweh of hosts, ..."Then you shall again see the difference between one who serves Elohim and one who does not serve Him." (Malachi p.646) Yashuah came to explain that and the law.16 All humans will be greatly blessed for following both Yahweh and Yashuah as they desire and not as each human desires as so many have done in the past and as so many do today. Revelation 14:1 And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's Name written upon their foreheads. We should contend for the true and pure faith, purging out the fossilized customs of our forefathers. Not adhering to the traditions of the father's" will bring us under serve persecution, and we well not be understood by the majority of those living in the flesh. (Lew White pg. 148.) The Talmud (Oral Law) has no bearing one Natsarim. Quoting from it should be done with words of warning. We can read anything, but we must be discerning. (Lew White pg. 148.) Malachi 3:16 Then shall those who fear Yahweh speak to one another and Yahweh listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who fear Yahweh, and those who think upon His Name. (Malachi, pg. 646) Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. (John, NKJV p.1763) Another name substituted for Yahweh is Jehovah. Let's look closer at the letter J. The hybrid "Jehovah" came into existence by ignorant writers who did not understand the Old

Holy Bible, NKJV by Nelson, Isaiah 42:21 page 446 and Matthew 5:17-19 17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Testament Hebrew. Most credit is given to Petrus Galatinus.17 Check pages one and two of "The Mistaken J". The pronunciation of Jehovah was unknown in ancient Jewish circles. And is based upon a later misunderstanding of the scribal practice of using the vowels of the word Adonai with the consonants of YHWH. (Donald Mansager pg. 16) Early translators who wrote the English version of the Bible were not Hebrew scholars, they were mostly ignorant of Hebrew and sometimes did not have knowledge of the Hebrew grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. (Donald Mansager pg. 22) While the Jewish zealous would not invoke (vocalize) the sacred Name, it was their custom to write it in the sacred texts, carefully placing the vowels was Adonai over the tetragrammaton to warn the reader not to utter the sacred Name, but to use Adonai. (Donald Mansager pg. 23) Man wants to do things his way and Yahweh had to punish the Israelites so often, as we can read in the Holy Scriptures.18 Satan has convinced man that he can serve Yahweh however he wants to, but Yahweh does not like these things.19 Try to find in Scripture where "legalism" (according to the Torah, not human traditions) is ever a problem for anyone's salvation. Human legalism is rampant look at "Sun-Day", Easter, Christmas and so on. These things are invented by men, and are not found anywhere in the Scripture. (Lew White pg. 146) Jeremiah 10:2-4 Thus said Yahweh, Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them. For the prescribed customs of these peoples are worthless, for one cuts a tree from the forest, work for the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. They adorn it with silver and gold, they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it does not topple. (Jeremiah pg. 476) Many defend validity for study, since it does provide a great deal of insight into what certain things meant to those living long ago. These "customs of the elders" which added to the Torah conflicted with the Torah, replaced it, and added burdens to the "light yoke." (Lew White pg. 147)

Isaiah 1:14-15 My being hates your New Moons and your appointed times, (feasts), they are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them. And when you spread out your hands (pray), I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear... (Isaiah pg. 413) "In God We Trust" is not exactly specific, is it? The god of this world exacts worship, honor, and obedience and he is opposed to the Covenant, and hates those who live by it. (Lew White pg. 119) Satan, the god of this world, does not want us to have the truth so he changes the truth the Holy Scriptures by using man.20 People are quick to label others with "handles". Christians in general are called by a Greek term, having no idea that the term was used by Pagans first, as worshippers of Serapis or that it is cognate with "certin" (see your dictionary). (Lew White pg. 83) The name of the Creator had been concealed from the common people for centuries, since the Babylonian Captivity. (Lew White pg. 83) Jeremiah 23:27 ...who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My Name for Baal. (Jeremiah, pg 490) The adversary, Shatan (Satan), steals the word from people's hearts so they will not believe and obey, and so be saved. Satan's messengers are disguised, masquerading as messengers of righteousness. Be careful how you listen! We must produce a crop, by spreading the true seed, not the seed of weeds. Lew (White pg. 82) Yahweh has allowed Satan to deceive many, but those whom Yahweh is reaching out to can see the lie and change.21 Everyone of the people in the Christian Denominations claims to follow The Holy Scriptures. They worship God, they say, because that is in the Bible. However, the same Holy Scriptures they claim to follow are the same Holy Scriptures that say The Whole World is deceived! Revelation 12:9 (Isyrael Hawkins pg. 1) Yahweh is the name of the Eternal Heavenly Father.

Exodus 6:2-3 And Elohim spoke to Mosheh and said t him, " I am Yahweh. "And I appeared to Abraham, to Yitshaq (Isaac), and to Yaaqob (Jacob), as El Shaddai. And by My Name, Yahweh, was I not known to them? Lord and Master are titles, but not names. Example, one may call the governor or ruler of their country, Lord Hamilton, but if he were to use Lord by itself, no one would know of whom he spoke. Dorling Kindersley, dictionary defines lord as a person having power and authority over others, GOD, JESUS, a British nobleman or a bishop of the Church of England entitled to sit in the House of Lords used as a title (Lord Cornwallis) (my Lord Archbishop). It defines master as a male teacher, an artist or performer of great skill, one having authority over another person or things (the slave's master) (master of a ship) employer, used as a title for a young boy too young to be called mister (Master Timothy Roe)... As explained in these definitions, Lord and Master are titles, but not names. God can also be looked upon as a title. For example, god to a Hindu would be Buddha, to a Muslim, it would be Allah, to a Christian, it would be GOD, LORD, or Jesus and to some it would be Satan. Thus calling on the title God does NOT specify which god and thus cannot be singled out as a name, but a title.22 God is not a name. This is what the Encyclopedia America (1945 Edition) says under the topic "God"; God (god) Common Teutonic word for personal object of religious worship, for merely applicable to super-human beings of heath myth; on conversion of Teutonic races to Christianity, term was applied to Supreme Being. (Lew White pg. 18) Let's look at our English word, "God". It is not a name, because the writings say there are "many gods". Also, you should know that there is no difference if the letters are capitalized or not, because there are no difference-sized letters at all in Hebrew. (Lew White pg. 18)

The words Lord and God are not righteous titles and are not to be used as titles of Yahweh, since they are the very titles for Baal, the host of heaven or troop. (Isyrael Hawkins pg. 6) The false pen of the scribes has falsified the Scriptures even today because the people in this world worship Lord and God due to their systematic, organized conspiracy to first hide, and then to replace Yahweh's Name in these same Holy Scriptures. (Isyrael Hawkins pg. 11) Children of Israel were deceived into adopting the Canaanite word El-ElohiymGod to express all the excellencies and attributes of Yahweh, most translators of the Scriptures are deceived into using the same words. El-Elohiym-God even thought they admit that God is not Yahweh's Name, and they know they should not use it as though it were. Deuteronomy 12:30 (Isyrael Hawkins pg. 19) Everyone who defends the use of these expressions uses the excuse that we are speaking "English" and these terms we are familiar with are "translations." (Lew White pg. 15) We have intended the long-standing custom of only using generic terms and devices to refer to the true creator. Non specific, general terms were employed to conceal the personal names of Pagan deities, and only the "initiated" would know them. (Lew White pg. 15) Yahweh is talks to humans through His Holy Scriptures and through history; through the mistakes of our ancestors. He wants everyone to learn. It is His will that all will obey and find the glory of Yahweh, but He knows that will not happen.23 Yahweh knew the hearts of His people. He knew that they would prostitute themselves to the Gods of the Canaanites, and because of that very thing, break His covenant which He had made with them. Yahweh knew these people would turn from Him. Deuteronomy 31:16-18 Isyrael Hawkins pg. 3 Revelation 3:8 I know your works see, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it that you have little power, yet have guarded My Word, and have not denied My Name. John, p. 1194 Summary Yahweh is the name of the Eternal Father in Heaven, whom the Christians of today refer to as God. By calling on him with a title instead of His name, they do not show him the respect

that He wants and deserves. The Creator has a name and just as we want others to call us by our name, so does He. When you need Him or when you are speaking about Him, use the true name He gave to us Yahweh! Titles show much esteem, but a Name is worth more than gold and silver.
