Shoo Fly Quilt Block: Block will be 12 ½" X 12 ½ " when completed. Start with one central color or pattern, add full squares and triangle squares to make the full block. Here's how: Block Center (shown as yellow): one 4 ½ " square

Coordinating print: four 4 ½ " X 4 ½ " squares Triangle squares: two 4 7/8 " X 4 7/8 " squares in coordinating print and two in neutral color. Make the triangle squares as follows:

Draw a line from corner to corner, then sew two squares together 1/4" on each side of the line.

Put the rows and strips together as follows:

Make a bunch of these, they do not have to be all the same. You can put them together with solid squares, sashing or sewn together as is. This is a great scrap quilt project!
