Ever wonder why we persist in our sin? Is it laziness, selfishness, willfulness? Perhaps it is any one of these, but more likely it is pride. It is most often pride that keeps us from bending the knee, and bending our will. Pride that will not be humble enough to admit our failures. Our egos stand in the way, blocking the path back home to the Father. If only we would cast off our false self-esteem and begin the journey of repentance we would find forgiveness and welcome waiting at the end. Why keep the Father waiting any longer? Set aside your pride, set your eyes on Him and come home!! CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE The address is on the front cover. Access the bulletin online! You will find Mass Schedules, Ministry Schedules, Faith Formation Information, Staff Information, Events, Ministries and Directions. Lost your schedule - find it there!

RCIA Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Third Scrutiny and the Presentation of the Lord's Prayer This Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. Mass at Sts. Anthony & Joseph we celebrate the Third Scrutiny and the Presentation of the Lord's Prayer with our Elect. The Third Scrutiny finds it's theme from the Scripture Passage, Gospel of John 11:1-45, "The Raising of Lazarus." The previous two Scrutinies focused on new life, (The Woman at the Well), and living in the light of the Lord, (The Man Born Blind). Today it is Eternal Life, Resurrection in the telling of (The Raising of Lazarus). What do all three readings share in common? They tell of what effect being baptized into the Life, Death and Resurrection will have on us. It gives new life by being born again from above, it illuminates our inner sight so that we can live in the light of the Lord, and it forgives sin and promises eternal life. That journey culminates at the Easter Vigil for our Elect and Candidates. Please continue to pray for our Elect and Candidates: Ashley Busch Cooper Busch Jennifer Miller Torri Shirley Gary Tucci Allison Villeneuve Shae Voorhees Lori Dellerba

Spring If there comes a little thaw, Still the air is chill and raw, Here and there a patch of snow, Dirtier than the ground below, Dribbles down a marshy flood; Ankle-deep you stick in mud In the meadows while you sing, This is Spring. Christopher Pearce Cranch
