R&L Property Management (208) 263-4033 Tenant Cleaning Check List This is a basic guideline for cleaning prior to move out. These are some of the main things that will be checked at final inspection. Some things on this list may not apply to the home you are renting and there may be additional cleaning you need to address that is not included in this list. _____ Mop and/or Vacuum all floors (If necessary have carpets professionally cleaned) _____ Clean/dust window ledges and tracks _____ Clean windows as necessary _____ Replace burned out lightbulbs _____ Remove cobwebs from ceilings, light fixtures, etc. Bathrooms: _____ Clean toilets _____ Clean sinks _____ Clean tubs/showers _____ Clean floors _____ Clean mirrors _____ Clean counter tops and inside cupboards and drawers Kitchen: _____ Clean refrigerator inside and outside _____ Clean stove top and oven _____ Clean microwave inside and outside _____ Clean counter tops and inside cupboards and drawers _____ Clean sink _____ Clean floors Garage/Storage Sheds: _____ Sweep floors, clean up any spills _____ Clean out any cupboards/workbenches Outside/Yard _____ Mow lawn or Remove snow from driveway/walkways _____ Clean up flower beds/garden areas _____ Remove all trash and debris Please do not patch nail holes or other holes in walls or do any touch-up painting. If these items need to be addressed, we will take care of them after your departure. Don't forget to contact utility companies to have final bills mailed to you, and transfer service to R&L Property Management. Please do not have utilities disconnected. Make sure to turn in all keys and garage door openers, along with a forwarding address and telephone number for your deposit refund!
