The motto or mantra of CUNY Law School is "Law in the Service of Human Needs." That has been the standard Angel Rodriguez, Jr., has strived for in his practice. Representing predominantly the working class, small business owners and/or immigrants with diverse needs and issues, his practice centers on litigation. Whether suing a large corporation and/or municipality, the odds are often stacked against his clients. When used as envisioned, the law is the great equalizer, justice is blind and on the occasions that it is not, then Mr. Rodriguez and his colleagues are ready advocates willing to remind the court and opposing interests that money, status and/or position will not enable them to trample upon the rights of others. These advocacy skills have been honed through hundreds of depositions, numerous trials and summary proceedings in various courts throughout New York State. Mr. Rodriguez received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a Minor in International Relations from St. John's University in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in 1996. He is admitted to the bar in New York State, and is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and New York Trial Lawyers Association.
