Göcek Turkey

On the curve of the Mediterranean coastline lies Göcek, a sublime conuence of rural tranquillity and contemporary comfort. Legends tell the story that it s in the Göcek area that Icarus landed in the sea after his famous ight trying to escape from the tower where he was imprisoned. Göcek became known to groups of artists and poets and to some sherman from Bodrum as a result of their cruising along the Turkish Turquoise Coast, a journey later called the "Blue Voyage". In 1988 Göcek was declared a Registered Area of Special Protection, therefore, multi-story buildings are not allowed. Göcek still remains unspoilt. There are no large touristy hotels, only exclusive yachts, whose residents wander ashore to take their pick of the delicious fresh seafood served along the tree-line promenade, or to stock up with fresh produce for the next stage of their maritime journey. With its long seafaring tradition, rst as a shing port, then an Ottoman harbour and now as a smart marina, Göcek is a fabulous place from which to take a trip aboard a gullet (traditional wooden boat) around the 12 picturesque islands. Gocek is well served as a base from which to explore many of Turkey's most popular places - The Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz, the Greek Ghost town of Kaya, the fabulous bay of Katranci and, of course, Dalyan, with its rock caves, healthy mud baths and turtles and the ancient capital Xanthos, dating from 1,200BC. It is sunny over 300 days per year. July and August are generally the hottest months.

Rosmarin Villas

People say Rosmarin has a special magic that gets into one's heart and soul. The villas are architecturally designed based upon traditional Turkish summer homes, surrounded by beautiful gardens with views of the Mediterranean in front and majestic mountains behind. Villas Azure and Turquoise are two of only a few villas in Rosmarin with complete views of the Mediterranean and 12 islands of Turkey. Each villa has been carefully furnished to elicit feelings of the Ottoman era and that one is experiencing an exotic destination. Furnishings come from Istanbul and Morocco. The villas are suitable for people who enjoy an independent holiday in self-contained accommodation.
