ChillPAC packaged ammonia chiller ­ featuring SABCube screw compressor

Sabroe ChillPAC packaged ammonia chillers are now also available based on the new SABCube screw compressor design. More information about this new compressor is available in the SABCube brochure. ChillPAC chillers provide numerous outstanding advantages and benefits in cases where life cycle cost, indirect cooling and the use of future-compatible natural refrigerants are important considerations. The ChillPAC design features fully welded plate heat exchangers as well as pre-formed pipes. Together, these minimise any risk of leaks and provide a much greater degree of safety and reliability. A complete Sabroe ChillPAC unit only requires a minimum of space, because the plate heat exchangers and the other components are well integrated. This applies to this new screw compressor type, the new shell-and-plate evaporator design with built-in liquid separator and the new shell-and-plate condenser design featuring a built-in high-pressure float expansion valve system.
