In re Safety-Kleen Corp., et al. (Case No. 00-2303 (PJW)) -- Plan Distribution TO: HOLDERS OF CLASS 4 AND 5 GENERAL UNSECURED CLAIMS On August 1, 2003, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware confirmed the Modified First Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization, dated July 21, 2003 (the "Plan"), of Safety-Kleen Corp., and certain of its direct and indirect subsidiaries (collectively, "Safety-Kleen"). Subsequently, on December 24, 2003, the Plan was consummated, and Safety-Kleen emerged from chapter 11 as reorganized entities. Pursuant to the terms of the Plan, the Safety-Kleen Creditor Trust (the "Creditor Trust") was created for the purpose, among others, of reconciling certain claims filed against Safety-Kleen and making distributions to holders of allowed claims in classes 4 through 7 in accordance with the terms of the Plan. The Trustee of the Creditor Trust is in the process of making final distributions to holders of allowed general unsecured claims in classes 4 and 5 in the bankruptcy estate of Safety-Kleen Corp. (the "Class 4 and 5 SKC General Unsecured Claims"). Pursuant to the terms of the Plan, as a holder of an allowed Class 4 and 5 SKC General Unsecured Claim, you are entitled to a distribution consisting of your pro rata share of certain trust assets as more fully defined in the Plan. The full and final distribution on account of your Class 4 and 5 SKC General Unsecured Claim is enclosed with this letter. If you hold other claims in Safety-Kleen's chapter 11 cases, you may receive additional distributions at a later date. Additional details regarding distributions made under the Plan, discharge of claims, and releases by holders of claims are described in the Plan itself and the accompanying disclosure statement dated March 20, 2003 (the "Disclosure Statement"). The Disclosure Statement, Plan and additional information concerning the Creditor Trust are available online at the Creditor Trust's website Please note that the Disclosure Statement contains general information with respect to the federal income tax consequences of distributions under the Plan. Additional information reflecting the amount of the distribution will be provided at a later date.
