On April 23, 1996, two NJ State troopers stopped a car with four young men, one Latino , three Black, Keshon Moore, Daniel Reyes, Leroy Grant and Rayshown Brown were on their way to a basketball clinic in North Carolina. The troopers Shot eleven times into the van. A police search found no guns or drugs. This play, a "State of Profiling" documents statements of witnesses on both sides, girlfriend of a trooper and the ensuing trial. The audience is asked to weigh in on the evidence for institutionalized racism. Please come join us as we revisit:
