2011 Cassini Scientist for a Day Essay Contest

For Students in Grades 5-12

You are invited to participate in the 10th edition of the Cassini "Scientist for a Day" essay contest. The contest meets U.S. National English and Science Education Standards. In September 2011, the Cassini spacecraft will take images of these three targets. Your assignment is to choose the one target you think will provide the best science, and to write an essay to explain your reasons. Winning essays will be published on the Cassini website. U.S. contest winners will be invited to participate in a dedicated teleconference with Cassini scientists from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
