Shangri-la Gardens Residents Association Incorporated Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held at: Shangri-la Gardens Clubhouse Sunday, 17 October 2010

Present: Graeme & Suzanne Perigo, Martin & Julie Ginn, Barry Morgan, Andre Hood, Amanda Peterson, Malcolm & Nicki Parker (Tenants), Carl Heath, Les Wildman, Troy & Karen Chillingworth, Glen Mills, Suzanne Turner & Selwyn Peden, Billy Brookland (Tenant), Jim Botha, Guy Baldwin, Ray & Bridget Gorinski, Leon & Marion Frische, Jackie & Mark McGill, Richard Booth, Christine Lawrie Opened: Meeting opened at: 12.30pm Apologies & proxy votes: Tom Frowde, Bev & Graeme Charman, Ted McNeil, Margaret MacLeod Acceptance of Minutes of Previous Annual General Meeting (1 November 2009): Motion to accept minutes as true and correct: Moved: Seconded: Barry Morgan Leon Frische

Copies of the Chairpersons, Treasurers reports and Financial Statements for Year End 31 July 2010 and Budget for Year 2010 / 2011 were distributed to members present at the meeting. Graeme called for nominations of Committee members for the coming year (2010 / 2011). All of the following existing members agreed to stand again. Julie Ginn & Carl Heath advised they will not be standing again for the coming year. Nominations accepted / Committee for 2009 / 2010: Graeme Perigo Leon Frische Kim Bond Colin Peterson Ted McNeil Barry Morgan Guy Baldwin Tanya Bater Tom Frowde Suzanne Turner(new nomination)

Christine Lawrie (Independent Secretary / Treasurer) Treasurer's report and Budget for 2010 / 2011 presented by: Christine Lawrie (see attached) Motion to accept 2010 / 2011 Treasurers report and 2010 / 2011 Budget: Moved: Seconded: Barry Morgan Graeme Perigo

Motion to retain Operating Surplus of $ and allocate to Capital Fund (to be used if required for any extraordinary expenses and Capital purchases.) Moved: Seconded: General Business: Bridget Gorinski asked the Committee to consider looking into getting costings to have a communal recycling station built / installed rather than the current system of every resident putting out their own individual recycling bins. This is something that the Committee has considered previously but maybe the incoming Committee could reconsider. In closing Graeme thanked the Committee for their work over the previous year and also thanked those that had turned up today to help at the working bee.
