Contacts: Karen Holden 972-658-5281 Jennifer Buchanan 972-567-0640

Smiles Charity will host its first annual Fashion Show on Thursday February 24th 6:309:00 pm at 6851 W. Virginia Pkwy Suite 100 (formerly True Rumors Boutique) located in the Adriatica development in McKinney. Proceeds from the fashion show will support Smiles Charity's mission to help build new homes for deserving local families. Tickets are available for $25 online at www.smilescharity.org. Several McKinney ladies will be modeling the latest spring fashions. Models will include Sheila Johnson, Maylee Thomas, Tina Craig, Jen Pogue, Suzanne Davis, Tammy Gough, Dawn Mitchell, Jana Brosin, Beth Thomas, and Jennifer Buchanan. The event will be made possible in part through donations from Market Street and Cavalli's Pizza and will raise money to build homes for Smiles Charity's 2011 beneficiaries, Levi Wilson and Alan Hornaday. Alan Hornaday's daughter, Kerbi Semmler, will also model during the fashion show and his wife, Sheila Hornaday, will share her story of fear, hope, and love as the man to whom she has devoted her life was left 100% disabled from his injuries. Levi Wilson, Sergeant US Army retired, and Alan Hornaday, Sergeant 1st Class US Army retired, were severely wounded in Iraq while serving their country. Smiles Charity will host several events, including the upcoming fashion show, throughout 2011 to raise money for Operation Finally Home, the Houston based non-profit organization that will actually build Mr. Wilson's and Mr. Hornaday's new homes. The fashion show will feature the new spring lineup of Worth Clothing's W line and Jewelry from Nan Lee. W will donate 5% of all sales from the evening to Smiles Charity. Mandy Collins, McKinney resident and local W consultant, is matching that donation so that a total of 15% of the evening's sales will be donated to Smiles Charity. Ms. Collins is very excited to support Smiles Charity as well as showcase this year's spring fashions. "I'm looking forward to introducing a very "McKinney" women's fashion line and showing ladies how it goes from carpool to cocktail with only a few accessory changes," says Ms. Collins. "I'm super excited about the opportunity to work with Jen on this year's Smiles project," she says referring to Smiles Charity founder Jennifer Buchanan. Smiles Charity, a McKinney based 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the community together to change the world one home, one family at time, is currently

seeking event sponsors. Please visit www.smilescharity.org for more information about getting involved. Build a Home, Create a Smile.
