With most powders, the long TBBC bullet requires slightly less powder than our conventional 55 grain soft point. For that reason, we emphatically recommend that you use the data here for this bullet. We also seated the TBBC deeper to avoid contact with the rifling. Use a cartridge over-all length of 2.235". The maximum loads here are within the industry pressure limit of 65,000 psi.

22-250 Remington

Some shooters use the 22-250 Remington for taking games animals. This seems more common in the Southern US where the deer are commonly smaller. Although we are not fully comfortable with this practice, we now have a bullet that makes it more humane. The Trophy Bonded Bear Claw soft point is built tough, with a fusion-bonded core, and can give penetration and weight retention not possible with most 22-250 factory loads and component bullets.
