The SCTF is administered by a Board of Trustees, comprising six members and is chaired by the current CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad.

Julian Wynter CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad

Julian Francis Wynter is the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and Managing Director for SCBMB and was appointed to the Board on 23 January 2007. As CEO and Managing Director, Julian is responsible for the implementation of the Standard Chartered's business strategies and overall Corporate Governance not only for SCBMB but also for the Group's operations in Malaysia. This includes Scope International (M) Sdn. Bhd. and IT-365 Sdn. Bhd. which form the Standard Chartered Group's Global Shared Service Centre currently based at Technology Park Malaysia and Price Solutions Sdn. Bhd. which was established by the Standard Chartered Group to promote and market its financial products. In his role, Julian brings with him 30 years of extensive experience in the banking industry.



Dato' Michael Yam MD of Impetus Partnership

Dato' Michael K. C. Yam was appointed as the Managing Director of Sunrise Berhad on 20 March 1997. He is also a member of the EXCO and the ESOS Committee of this award winning public listed property company. Dato' Michael Yam was the "CEO of the year 2002" for Malaysia, a prestigious award presented by the American Express Corporate Services and Business Times.

Dato' Ariffin Aton Chairman, Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Berhad

Dr. Mohd. Ariffin Hj. Aton holds a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. He started his professional career as a process engineer with Esso Refinery in Port Dickson in 1970 and later joined the academia as a Lecturer in Chemical Technology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from November 1975 till 1989. In November 1982 he was appointed as the Dean of the Physical & Applied Science Faculty and in 1984 as the Dean (Founder) of the Engineering Faculty.

Dr. Joanne Au Yong CEO of Heartfields Sdn Bhd

Dr. Joanne Au Yeong, is the Managing Director of the Heartfields Jewellery Group of Companies, the holding company for Malaysia's premier designer boutiques, Heartfields Fine Jewellery and The Diamond House.

Raymond Wong Chief Financial Officer, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad

Raymond Wong is appointed as the Chief Financial Officer for Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad effective 1 September 2008. As CFO, Raymond is responsible for the overall management of the Finance and Tax function with oversight responsibility for the Procurement & Vendor Management of the Bank. His role focuses on adding value to the strategic planning, budgeting and business performance function in support of the CEO and in partnership with the Business Heads. The role also involves providing direction and leadership to the Finance team and taking responsibility for all internal and external reporting, ensuring consistent application of the bank's accounting policies and international accounting standards, while supporting the CEO in the corporate governance process.

Rahmat Roslan Hashim Country Head, Human Resources Malaysia, Brunei & Mekong, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad

In April 2004, Rahmat joined Standard Chartered Bank as the Country Head of Human Resource covering Malaysia and Brunei. His portfolio was extended to cover Mekong Region in October 2006. Rahmat is responsible for the overall human resource development for all 3 countries. Rahmat is the champion for our Bank's Diversity & Inclusion Programme. He has presented papers on Diversity & Inclusion and pioneered the Banking Apprentice Programme and the International Graduates Programme
